First Shelby GT350 in the 11's quarter-mile (11.96 @ 116 MPH)

I do love the sound of the GT350 that was shown in the video. I appreciate the people who are pushing the performance envelope of GT350 on the drag strip. They are following the precedent set by those who raced Cobras on the drag strip. The Cobra was intended as a road course car but also became famous as the Dragon Snake and set a number of records on drag strips across the USA.

We shut it off she likes to launch without it. The sweet spot seems to be around 7k launch

Still the BMR and the DR's but we did add Gulf Mach 116 and started tuning with Lund Racing. We held 11.9's with stock tune and 93 pump in good air.

You aren't going to use E85? I thought you guys were using a E85 tune during Dyno tune.

Yes we did test with it but decided to go with Gulf this round just to see how she liked it. I'm sure we are going to try all kinds of setups to see which works best as the build progresses.

Yes, he said his best on stock tune was 11.9.

Correct.. We gave her all she had on the stock tune. We even had great air and even tried with a better prepped track and very minor changes happened in times and mph.
