Hello everyone, just joined the forum and had been researching on here the past month. I bought a 2018 Shelby GT350 last Friday (3/23) in a small town east of Dallas, was $3k under MSRP. Only options are the stripes and a car cover. I had been trying to get one at MSRP in CA for a few weeks without much luck unless I wanted a 2017 that had been sitting outside for a year.
When I saw this one posted on Cars.com I literally called the dealer and flew out the next day as that had been the best deal I had seen thus far. The new sales guy had the easiest close of his career probably. They were great and no BS or bogus fees, was in/out within an hour. Had an amazing road trip back to LA! Felt like I was in the movie American Graffiti rolling through those one light towns on the Texas back roads and the exhaust burbling away...never felt more American in my life
This is my first Mustang ever for myself, most of my past cars were M cars or 911's, awesome to see America putting out such great cars now. Also was really excited to find this in the original Shelby GT350 color scheme.
I can say in utomst confidence this is one of my favorite cars I've owned thus far, everything is tied together so well from the drivetrain-chassis-ergonomics. May consider removing the resonators but other than that, going to enjoy!
P.S. If you happen to be in or visiting LA my car will also be available on Turo: https://turo.com/drivers/2549749
