Nice that track is about 30 minutes away from me. I'll definitely be making some passes once I get mine.
Luckily the cars were going with the wind.Likeaboss, it's pretty windy up here today (10-17 mph), do you know if the wind was with/against or across the track? Not saying it added or subtracted 10-17mph or anything crazy like that but just curious if it was a headwind.
No doubt and apparently confirming Motor Trend and Road and Track can't drive in a straight line worth a crap. Keep in mind these car are both the Tech Pack which is the heaviest config.Man that's impressive as hell!! High 11s on a surface that's not optimally by a car that was built for the twistes. Kudos to :ford:!!
I said that from the get go when their times came out.:frusty: but noooo everyone wanted to argue with me. :lol:No doubt and apparently confirming Motor Trend and Road and Track can't drive in a straight line worth a crap. Keep in mind these car are both the Tech Pack which is the heaviest config.
It is on tires though...say what you will but ever bit matters especially with a car that apparently is so finicky in performance.
The drs arent making it trap 4mph faster. It is on tires though...say what you will but ever bit matters especially with a car that apparently is so finicky in performance.
That's pretty harsh. Just wait and see what they can do with a Cobra Jet on a road course like Laguna Seca or Road America! :headbonk:No doubt and apparently confirming Motor Trend and Road and Track can't drive in a straight line worth a crap.
My point being they aren't having professional drag racers drive these cars for the 0-60 and 1/4 mile tests yet they get someone like Randy to do the road course part. That's pretty harsh. Just wait and see what they can do with a Cobra Jet on a road course like Laguna Seca or Road America! :headbonk:
I totally agree with you thereMy point being they aren't having professional drag racers drive these cars for the 0-60 and 1/4 mile tests yet they get someone like Randy to do the road course part.
