People are pissed because the progress of the s550 compared to the improvements made by the Camaro. The leap in performance is undeniable. The car gained weight and wasnt even faster than the 2011-2014 s197... that blows. All Ford wanted to do was focus all their energy in redesigning the vehicle and making it appealing for the European market. I don't think they cared about what the Mustang enthusiast was asking for. We have been asking for better faster and lighter for years and they go and pull this...I am still surprised so many people are freaking out about a Camaro that is a year and a half newer than the S550.
Any engineer that had a year and a half to benchmark their competitor, and couldn't surpass them would be fired. Why is there so much surprise a BRAND NEW car performs better than one that has been on the road for over a year?

The only idiots are the ones that trade in a car after a few years of new ownership. Those are the suckers depreciation gets. And by the time it happens in 2018 (at the earliest), most on this forum will already be looking to get a new car.
And if it doesn't happen you'll just be an idiot who doesn't have a car.
MPH, or years old?Its cool when you hit about 40.....you don't care about trivial $%#^ like this.
Only thing the 1SS is missing really is the option for the CTA/BlindSpot system. That should always be a stand alone option. After looking at the 1SS standard features it has a lot of stuff.the difference for my base GTPP and a 1SS with dual mode exhaust is 1900 if i add my aftermarket catback exhaust to the price tag.
btw there's no need for navigation if you have an iphone. apple carplay is standard and it uses your phone as navigation. see a demo of it here
Based on what?Your 2018 has no real strong merit and signs are pointing towards '17 MY refresh then '18.
There's a fully front/rear camo'd Mustang testing in Michigan. They aren't out there testing a new front/rear fascia refresh only...you don't need to be on the road for that. Also one of the members who works for Ford mentioned that a 10 speed is out in the wild testing already. Updated news today on the new transmissions also. To me, that supports a '17 refresh more then any '18 refresh. Add in the new Camaro and Ford has a great opportunity to respond in less then a year (and all these things have been in the works for years)Based on what?
