When is the first delivery to Oz?

Overnight my vin has popped up on the shipping track and trace.
Vessel Aniara, ETD Baltimore 14 Nov ETA Melbourne 20 December.
If I am reading it right there are 104 cars on this booking.

Ship is going via Brisbane and Port Kembla on the voyage details, mine is a Sydney order but shows Melbourne as the port of discharge. I guess they may all be getting checked in Melbourne before being sent to the dealers as some have indicated already.


Seeing it booked onto the ship has made the whole thing a lot more real now, even though the dates may change there is movement.

Your not wrong about the excitement - can't believe its actually coming.

No doubt there will more delays but I'm away OS over the Christmas break so not really expecting to collect it until mid Jan anyway.

Looking forward to tracking its progress ......

Men,
have just come back from a brief shopping trip and while out, my wife spotted a Ford promotion.
Stopped, went in and they had the dib v8 convertible there that ford nz brought in about 3 weeks ago as a pre production vehicle for promotional purposes
Sat in it, started it up and you won't be disappointed
The handbrake, cupholder, gear shift thing is a non issue so forget that entirely!
The exhaust makes a great snarl when you start the engine and the seats are really comfortable.
So excited I forgot to check which side the indicators and wipers are, so sorry about that
After being nearly suicidal last Monday when I found out about my seatbelt recall
this was just exactly the mental therapy I needed
You will all love them when they arrive

Finally got some good news.Was disappointed when original build day of 27 Aug was blown out to 23 Oct.(like everybody else).My car is booked on the ANIARA to sail 14 nov arrive Melb 20 Dec. It is interesting to note that it is now taking approx 3 weeks from build date to getting on a ship.Thats very good.

Build date was 14th of October.

I find it confusing how some cars with a later build date are on the ship even though some with earlier build dates are still waiting. They must have let a lunatic run this process :headbonk:

I'm not sure if there was a production problem between 5th and 23rd since no cars built in that period are on any boats.

Yes they are, there are plenty from mid October listed on the Aniara for Australia.
