As per my earlier post suggested I am in the queue with my dealer (second).I gave the info to two mates in Melbourne and they are first in line with their dealers. We are all with big Mustang sales dealers.Hopefully price will be sub 80k on road. Word from down south is big dealers are hoping for...
Steve Mcqueen and Bullit IS where it all started for me. I was 15, Falcon GT's,McQueen's 68 fastback then along came Moffat and his fabulous Coca Cola 69 Mustang.I guess you missed all that.I get a buzz everytime I jump in one.
I thought the Bullit is a 2019 spec GT with an extra 11kw. Can not see any problems bringing that in . Also my dealer principal informs me Ford Aust is trying to get them.Since OZ is the second biggest market for mustangs they just might decide to give us RHD Bullit.
If you want a Bullit and it becomes available you will need to be first in queue at your dealer. If they bring in 100 and there are 200 dealers in oz it could be interesting. This car would be relatively easy to produce RHD mostly cosmetic.I think it will happen,a great promotion for Mustang.
I should be there. The main carpark is usually full with moca members so non members may not get entry to that area.Hope there are a few new mustangs there.
Hi Vinno, should be at Panthers sunday April 10,say hello and I would be happy to give you a demo of the Magnaflow comp axleback.(Racered GT PY50YR ) Regards Phil.
Just to balance the quoted" negative reviews on Magnaflow", I have a Magnaflow competition axle back ( been on car since Jan 19) and I love it.Btw you can not really get an appreciation of the exhaust note with a rev when stationary. As we know they are much louder under load when driving.
Just thought I would pipe up so to speak.I love my Magnaflow Comp Axleback.Just back from Melb, 5k on the clock. At 115/120 kph windows up it is quiet.Windows down - nice. 3500-6500rpm absolutely gorgeous.Nothing deeper in tone than Magnaflow. The secret is keep the factory suitcase for the...
Just letting everyone know when getting after market wheels and you need another set of TPMS sensors for your mustang(if you leave original sensors in factory wheels)make sure you get genuine ford(quote VIN number)2015 mustang sensors.I made the mistake of using Ranger 433mhz sensors, they will...
I am very happy with my new GT.Drives a little better than the '67.Just a few pics side by side that show a few styling similarities between the '67 and 2015. Regards Phil.
Thanks John for the live demo of your magnaflow comp catback last sunday over at windsor. It sounds awesome. For everybody else out there it is a lot deeper in tone than the gopro can pick up and louder, but can also be driven at a reasonable level if required.
They are STANCE SC5 20x10 38 offset allround .275/35 front 295/35 rear. These profiles are approx 14mm taller than stock. Therefore 7 mm above axle ,7mm below. It takes 7mm out of the space between tyre and fender arch.I am not going to lower it.These profiles also keep a 7mm rake on car same as...
On mine the front number plate is screwed to the dimples (small pilot hole drilled )with rubber tube standoff spacers (12mm long compressed down to 6-8mm) Then the Altrex covers are fitted ,they have 4 folding clips that secure cover to plate. I am happy with the positioning for our NSW slimline...
You are correct ,but I will add that the spacers were actually 10mm diam(approx)rubber hose/tube cut to about 10-12mm long, then as you screwed the plate on the rubber splayed a bit and gave support. It ended up being about a 6mm standoff. Then fitted Altrex covers. Regards Phil.
Yep standard hood. Notice we dont get your nice hood heat vents on the GT due to some euro regulations regarding pedestrian safety.Even though we miss out on some iconic features we really appreciate Ford developing the RHD platform at a great price for us in Australia(as well as other...
