The exhaust is worth more than a tenth, the car was breaking up and there were some throttle closures and lean conditions. Will get it straightened out and go a little faster next week.

That happens when re-entering the atmosphere from orbit.:headbang:

I'm sure it is between power and weight savings.

I'm planning on it as I'm going to be adding some weight with a larger rad and oil cooler. Hopefully I can find some time to weld up the alterations to my down pipe and get it on the car. I'm hoping it offsets the added pounds.

Hey SB1, you got any videos with that MAP exhaust on there? Curious to hear some customer videos of the MAP exhaust.

great thread btw! Love seeing these ecos in the 11s with the same tuner I'm using :-)

How does this not have any post on it?
It look like this is the outcome of most ecoboost related threads around here regardless of how awesome it is. If this was similar content related to a GT car you will automatically see hundreds of replies and support with pure excitement within the thread most of the time. It look like there's more hate and jealousy amongst ecoboost owners and against the ecoboost mustang as a whole(maybe bc of the whole 4cy thing?). Maybe I'm wrong and I really hope I am but the ecoboost threads vs GT threads tell a different story.

Didn't mean to resurrect this older post but I just thought you'd comment was straight to the point.

The EB definitely isn't for the insecure or thin skinned. Why do you think so many have traded for GTs?

Sorry missed this post, haven't updated this thread in awhile, lots of planning going on for next year now that we have snow lol... Anyhow unfortunately don't have any sound clips of the MAP Exhaust but it sounds mean, very deep and a nice rumble! Not the tin can sounding ricer exhaust... The craftsmanship on the exhaust is amazing!!

Yeah Adam has a bunch of Ecos in the 11's now! Crazy how fast these cars can be. My goal was to just dip into the 11's while the car was basically still stock, then get serious for next year :) Goal accomplished, so now time to get this thing ready for the 10's! Currently working with MAPerformance to build me a solid foundation under the hood to crank off some solid 10's and eventually into the 9's! Pretty sure I'll be starting with a VTT Stage 2 stock style turbo bolted on a complete MAP Engine. From there once I'm ready to really go fast I'll be throwing a Big Turbo on it :eyebulge: Most likely a MAPerformance Kit w/6466 or something to that effect...

I'll trade my Eco for a GT once they start running 9's & 10's with daily drivers and getting 30mpg+ :headbonk: To be honest I'm not sure I've even had a GT beat me at the track yet lol... Usually have a large crowd around in the staging lanes when I pop my hood and they see "half an engine" under the hood, not to mention the stock intake, etc...

The Eco can definitely be a serious platform when done correctly!!
