Need advice.
I'm on the fence between Full Race and Maperformance Cold air intake. I'd do wrinkleback/Plastic tubing

The price of Full-Race has me intrigued as it's quite a bit less than most other competitors, has anyone done a comparison between the two. I have the Adam Maperformance tune and I'm still in process of finalizing the data logs v3 right now.

1. Which one has better performance gains or is their not much difference?
2. Sound comparison?
3. Any likes/dislikes?

Thanks,

Chad

Kind of wish the Full Race filter was a little further down into the wheel well...can't imagine much of a change in intake temps as it's in the stock location. Does sound better.

Yeah saw a good deal on one so I picked it up, as for the BOV I'll have to plan for that later, just got my MAP CAI in this morning, love the sound and definitely gained back some power but not sure how it'll be for highway driving, the noise that is.

Let us know, I don't want to get annoyed driving on the highway...just annoy other people.

So far it doesn't even make any noise unless you go past 4k rpm roughly or WOT. It's less aggressive in regular "D" mode, If you're in sport and letting the car shift it self you'll hear it only with the windows down though.

I feel I've gotten back the torque I lost from the magnaflow exhaust.
It's definitely more peppy and boost comes on earlier.
It looks great and sounds great, I definitely reccomend the MAP CAI.

Once I get the intercooler, and get it installed I'm going to put the car on a dynojet and I'll post my results.

So I just placed my order for a Roush CAI. Should be here in a day. Paid extra for shipping lol. I already have the Airaid CAI. Just wanted Alittle more noise from my intake and turbo. Any thoughts or will I be disappointed.

I'd thought about purchasing this one (ended up with a KN filter drop-in).

Please take some pics/video and let us know what you think... not many pics/videos on this particular intake.

5000 miles later on my MAP cai.

still love it like the day i got it. I hand polished it to a mirror finish back when i got it before installing it, one of these days im gonna take it back out and give it a final machined polish just for that little extra shine. I know it doesnt do anything but i love the all polished aluminum/chrome look inside the engine bay :p

Eventually going big turbo from map so itll be a shame to replace it after all the hours of cleaning it up lol worth it though.
