Wheel weight loss translates to wheel horsepower gains on the dyno, right?
The lighter wheels should technically increase HP, but I dont believe will give a significant HP increase on the dyno.
But the lighter wheels will definitely be felt when driving!

If they are that much lighter they may show a few HP gain on the dyno because less HP is being used to spin up the mass of the rear wheels and instead going into spinning up the dyno drum.

Wheels are on!

19x8.5 and 19x9.5 DST Hybris

I have some adjusting to do. Right now 1" spacers are up front and there are none in the rear. I want the rears out more and the fronts in just a little bit. Have some 15mm spacers made that should do the trick.

Wow!! Perfect wheel choice!
They look incredible.

I also love what you've done with the brakes, looks like a $5000 set of Brembos

How much were the rotors and where did you get them? Shame they didn't come that way.

Got them from Rotorpros. They were the first set of PP rotors. I can tell you they were cheap for Ford blanks that were modified.

Talk to Rich and tell him Andrew sent you.

How do these new wheels feel. Acceleration, braking, ride quality due to less unsprung weight?

It rides well. Just the same with the stock wheels. Acceleration is improved. You can definitely feel the car pick up a lot faster. Have not had the chance to push it in the corners as it is raining here.

I can say mounting the tires/wheels to the car is a lot easier.

your car is sick! How much boost are you running on that dyno pull? Are you happy with the way it runs?

So I ordered a S550 after looking around at different cars. Including the new Camaro and the new C7. I am a Corvette owner and not foreign to forced induction or high horsepower cars. Here are the S550 specs. First Mustang ever owned.

2015 Triple black GT, Premium, PP, Recaro, 401, BLS, Adaptive cruise, Security, NAV

Dealer did 35% all around.

Here is what I ordered to get started. Parts are all here now after two months of ordering.

What you see here is.
DSS 800 h.p. axles
Magnaflow competition quad tip
Rousch rear valence
BMR diff and IRS kit (Poly)
BMR Uplinks 22
BMR Toe rods
Steeda progressive sport springs
Steeda front sway bar with billet links
Steeda rear sway bar with billet links
Steeda IRS centering kit
Steeda Clutch line
Barton M6 shifter
UPR catchcan
FRPP hood struts
Custom grill
Badgeless rear panel
Diode Dynamics all
Weathertech floor mats
VMR 705 wheels (adapted from Audi)
Brembo decals
Gauge pod
Beefcake D1SC Stage 2 black and black
ID 1000 injectors
JMS BAP
SCTx4
RXT clutch and flywheel
Spark plugs
White shift ball
Hide a plate
1” spacers for PP wheels
Anchor room headlight tint

Car will arrive this week and I will begin to complete a long list of installs and projects. Hopefully I will have a different looking car when done. All installation will be done by myself and my son.

So in a month in went from stock to.....
