Build Week - 9/21/15 - 2016

Please help me.

I'm new to this forum and FordService doesn't respond to me. Additionally Ford Cotus doesn't work although I have a valid VIN. My blend date is 09.24 so that is when it will be finished. My dealer said it would take a couple days to ship, so wish me luck that it arrives this weekend.

I received both of your PMs from yesterday, ChristianH. I’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Also, COTUS is still in a pilot phase and has not been rolled out for all regions or vehicle nameplates. It’s been down for sometime now.

Fordservice Deysha has many PMs to go through usually she'll get to you in 2 days most likely before. As to having a blend date of Thursday, I think your dealer was wrong in saying it'll be a couple days to ship. Someone else correct me if I'm mistaken but it will at least be a couple weeks maybe sooner but they ship the cars in batches. Mine is being built today and is set to be a the dealer on Oct 17, maybe one week before that or maybe a week later

Also cotus hasn't seemed to work for '16. Mine has never shown up neither by order number or VIN.

So jelly right now, mine was set to be built yesterday as well but hasn't shown the date in ETIS, will be checking it every so often today. Hope my eta is sooner than the 10/17 the dealer gave me.

My window sticker listed my blend date as 9/21, and it ended up being 9/22. Wouldn't be surprised if ETIS updates for you tomorrow with a 9/23 build date. Just think, it could be rolling off the assembly line right now!

Hasn't worked for any 2016 model, and probably won't for the foreseeable future.

Yup, Same here off the line and awaiting shipment but with build date 9/21 and different ETA.

SC_Ruby may have to compare build quality fit and finish. Monday vs. after Monday night football.
Definitely going to be taking my time on inspection before doing any paper work.

Anyone actually get confirmation that their car has shipped from factory yet or get their rail car #? PM from Deysha yesterday confirmed the car finished building 9/22 and was waiting to leave factory to await shipment. I assume it was going through QA before being released for shipping. Deysha said was still on track for ETA to dealer as 10/17 Spoke with my dealer and he will monitor the status and get me the rail car # when it becomes available :eyebulge: Getting really close :cheers:

Mine hasn't updated the build date in ETIS yet, the blend date was set for the 22 so I hope it show at least by tomorrow at the latest figure updating is slightly delayed. Then I'll be bothering people to find out more about shipment most likely

My dealer mentioned an estimated ship date out of the factory on 10/4, with a delivery on 10/10. Not sure how he figured the QA testing length, but I guess we'll see in a week or so.

I had a blend date of 9/22 and I just checked ETIS and it's also showing a day late. Build/born date of 9/23 =)

I hope it's a girl!
