no need to cut vacuum lines gents
just use one of our "MAPTAPS"
this billet aluminum blocks mount between the MAP sensor and intake manifold

I haven't had any issues with my HKS fluttering as stated in this thread
I'm not sure my success is due to the the location of the HKS when using the cp-e charge pipes which places the BOV right before the throttle body or by having a strong vacuum reference by using the MAPTAP
either way I'm happy with the sound of the HKS over the Tial BOV

Do you sell those separately? This is what I was hoping for, but I didn't find any adapters sold by themselves

FWIW, Adam suggested moving the vacuum source closer to the throttle body instead of the back of the intake manifold when I asked him about the fluttering.

I have a map tap that came with my Turbosmart but it was very hard to install and I think I'm not getting a good seal.

our tap is easy to install and fits as snug as the MAP sensor in the manifold

Please let us know when we can pick up your tap separately from the system. I had to freeze my Turbosmart maptap to get it to fit plus use a small washer on the mounting bolt to get it to fit some what flush with the intake and I still think I have a little leak.

I'm interested in the map adapter block as well. My turbosmart one was extremely tight I don't think I'm getting a good seal either.

So I found a great deal on a TurboSmart Shorty and it comes with the Map Tap. I also now have the low RPM/Boost flutter (under 2K/5 PSI). I'm still playing with the spring tension on it. Everyone says this condition is not a big deal under lowe boost/psi. I'm going to re-check my vacuum line tomorrow, lower the tension a bit more.

let me see what I can do

Any update for us, whoosh? Just curious to see if I can get a MAP adapter since I feel like I'm having a minor vacuum leak lol. I wrapped the tee's ends with Teflon tape just to try and create a better seal.

Yeah could just be the tension that needs to be loosened up. Let us know if it works!
