How long for a VIN?

For those of you that have ordered your cars and gotten a VIN... how long did that take?

Probably more relevant to get info from guys with recent orders.

My financing pre-approval only lasts 60 days through the local credit union and I will need to get them the VIN or it will expire.

I placed my order on July 7th. They said I was in the first allocation for the region. I still have no VIN or build date for 16' GT350.

Ordered on June 2nd...no Vin yet. Afraid to say it will be awhile...probably more than 60 days for you.

I am second build in my region and no word on vin

Ordered June 11th. Got VIN today.

Ordered on 6/6, got my vin on 8/13. Was ordered on a priority 19, when i got the vin, it was moved to priority 01. Original build date then was supposed to be 8/31, then it got moved to 9/14, and now last friday got moved again to 10/12. Still no window sticker, they said that would be ready about a week or so before its built......so for now, still waiting.

my vin ends in 0418

No VIN yet.

Even if you had a VIN, if the status quo continues you would not recieve the car for several more months after that.

I'm in no hurry to actually take possession of the car (I'm a patient man), just hoping the VIN comes through to avoid the hassle of redoing everything once it is assigned.

Looks like the chances of that are slim...

My hope is that the VINs are assigned at a quicker rate now that actual production has commenced.

Not to be a downer. But production on the 16's has not started yet.:frusty:

wow this is all suprising to me, im starting to think i wont see my car until january or something. And I was thinking I had waited too long to order.

That's interesting. Can you say why? Parts availability from suppliers?

Other than Carbon Rev having challenges meeting the demand for the wheels I don't know. We should see the 2015's released anytime now.

I hope your correct, but my source has told me none have been built. I also have a friend that is not on this forum(At least I don't think he is) that has a production number lower than 50 and his has not been built. Supposedly the are to be built in vin sequence???

Anyone on here have a 16 that has been built, please speak up.
