What I'm seeing from several dealers (stores I've actually heard of, but not anywhere around me) are stating $20k ADM on GT350 and $30K on R's, and one that says $30k on non-R and highest bidder on R's, up to and including someone has placed a $70k non-refundable deposit on an R at $30k over.

And what about your store? :)

I don't even know what our allocation is. I would expect 1-2. As far as any ADM, again, I haven't heard anything. We get people talking about wanting one, but so far, no one has ordered.

Did they have several regular GT350s allocated to them? During my search I came across several dealerships that mistakenly thought they could order a GT350R when they were only allocated a GT350.
I was told I could order a GT350 with no problem. It was only when I insisted on the 'R' that I was told the owner is interested. I'm heading to the dealership tomorrow to see if I can get some more insight.

You guys might be in the same sales region as my dealer. They're in the same boat. They're supposed to be getting 2 allocations for 2016 but the regional sales rep hasn't released one yet.

I did.... they said the order was accepted.

My theory.....

It does make sense that the larger dealers who get more allocations can't make all of them R's thus the 3 to 1 ratio. But it also makes sense that Ford let dealers determine which they get a R or not for the dealers that only received ONE allocation. But of course that may be ONLY until all the R production has been reserved. Once reserved in the order system all the single allocation dealers were limited to non R's only.:ninja:
I would have them check with the regional rep. I was in the exact same situation you are. I ordered an R and the order was accepted and I received a DORA. About a week later the sales manager called and said he talked to his regional rep and that I should come down and change my order to a non R because She told him that the order would not get pulled. My dealer has one allocation. We submitted the order for the R on 5/26.

I spoke with him yet again....he said Ford sent no information about a lottery but maybe they missed the memo. Last time they saw a lottery was on the GT500KR and the Ford GT. Now maybe my situation is unique because he had to enter the order a second time with someone at Ford HQ on the phone walking them through for the order to be accepted in the system. They received a call last week from the regional rep to cover numerous things but during that conversation they stated the order is just awaiting production but no indication when that will be. I don't know what to say except that thus far every indication is my R order is going through as planned. No lottery involved.

Quick update: Talked to the general sales manager again.Good news first. The owner has decided to pass on the R. He assures me that he has an allocation of 3x GT350s and 1x GT350R. He is only able to order one GT350(already ordered) and that the others can not have orders placed yet. This is a top 100 Ford dealer, so I would expect a larger allocation than just one GT350.

The bad news: They were offered $40k over MSRP for the R by a random person. The dealership has good standards and would rather not sell to a one time customer for a large ADM(they rarely charge ADM) so let's see what happens. Hopefully, buying a couple of vehicles from them this past week will help my cause.

Second post and you are already "crushing... cruzin"...
I gave the info to the people who PM'd me and seemed the closest to me in terms of geography. I know the dealers .... like Brian 5.0 tend to favor people living in the area before all other inquiries. But, from my perspective..simply calling around it wasn't difficult to find dealers at smaller mom & pop types that simply aren't looking to rake people over the coals. But, if they get an inquiry from out of state...they seem to think its just par for the course to add a little padding to the sale.

Go figure.

So just to verify. FP says my order is in the system as PROCESSING. Would that be able to happen if my dealer didn't actually have an R allocation?
