Hard to tell speed from just a video. 91 octane in Texas? I've seen 93 everywhere I've been in Texas.
93 is everywhere in the big cities, but all we have is 91 out in West Texas.

Video really does no justice to how fast the car actually is, but I can assure you, it's pretty damn quick. I haven't had the chance to race anybody yet, or take it to the track, but I will as soon as I can. There is no 1/4 mile track within 3 hours of where I live, but there is an 1/8th mile track an hour away. I plan on making a trip there soon.

For those asking for in-car footage, do you have any suggestions on how to do that?
GoPro, somehow...

@dbmonster, thank you very much for the video. Your car looks great, and sounds great, and congratulations on all your modifications. I'm looking forward to mod my s550, with MAPerformance parts.

In all honestly at 300+, I'd image the car would be sliding a bit, or spinning the tires when you shift coming out of the turn (It kind of did a bit). Perhaps you really weren't punching it, and I'm also a noob.

Also from my understanding this is a pretty heavy car but lighter than the GT.

I guess I should put on some shitty tires so my car will seem faster lol

But in all seriousness, with the bigger turbo the car makes very little power below 4k rpm, but once the boost hits it will light the tires up at 50mph in 2nd gear on a slippery-er road. The roads I filmed that video on were very rough though, so no tire spinning.

Edit - thank you for the compliments

If your car is a manual I have no idea. If your car is an auto just drive with one hand and record with the other.

You're right, crappy tires would give that effect. I'm use to all the tuner cars. :/ Noob status over here.

I should've mentioned that before, yes my car is a manual. Recording wouldn't be a problem if it was auto.

It's all good man, everybody is a noob at some point

On the subject of traction, my car is able to put the power to the ground MUCH better with the bigger turbo. With the stock turbo I could never get traction due to the instantaneous torque. Sliding around and getting sideways on command was fun, and I do miss that, but the surge of power every time the big turbo spools up is just as fun if not more.

Just a FYI, our car makes 500whp and hardly spins the tires through first gear if I don't want it to. It squats and torque comes in gradually and climbs as boost increases with RPM. This isn't a 420tq @ 2500rpm stock turbo car ;)

Spinning isn't winning! Lol
Is your car running on stock internals or are they upgraded? Going big turbo on this car I would be concerned about blowing a rod. Very nice car by the way.

Do you have a lot of turbo lag with the kit?
It's noticeable but reasonable. You can cut down on lag by opting for a ball bearing turbo, and a 5558 instead of a 5862.
