Oh crazy, never seen that. Maybe that is just for Autos or non-PP cars? My car doesnt have that... if I double tap the switch it just cycles normal traction ON/OFF quickly.
Possibly, I am not sure. I don't have the driving modes that you have since I have a base, so I normally drive around in Advancetrac Sport Mode.

You are talking about the switch that goes from Normal, Sport, Track, Wet/Snow right? Thats just different throttle maps and none of them turn off advance trac. .

I thought the "mode" button did play with the level of the advance trac.

Where as the actual advance trac switch itself is what completely turns off traction control and advance trac?

You either hold the traction control switch or the driving mode switch (can't remember) for 6 seconds and it will turn off advanced trac in the Premium PP.
I know that, im the one who started the thread about it! Its the traction control switch that you hold.

Its possible however I have not personally noticed the vehicle to be any more forgiving of screwing around in any of the modes. The only perceivable effect I have had was the alternate throttle maps, and that the "track" mode automatically turns off standard traction control when selected.

Torque Management and advanced trac is adjusted with each driving mode.

Normal the car pulls back the most. Track the least.

Ah... well with 700rwhp they all equally suck and you have to shut it all down as much as you can or its robbing you of precious horsepower.

Why can't they just make "OFF" be off, I knew this car felt a little too composed in the canyons....exiting corners trying to get it to step out
Because we live in a world full of pussies.. :) Ford might be held liable for something, somewhere. :headbonk:

I wonder how much the Advanced trac does in straight line performance though? I thought it only comes into play if you get sideways?

With everything turned off I notice it all the time. Power shifting always feels different. Some times it's feels strong after a shift and then sometimes it's just week and soft. Drives me crazy.

I've even gotten a message on my dash screen saying "advanced track service" after the car gets a little side ways.

I doubt it, the cars make power like they should, and within a few moments on the dyno all the systems fault and every light on the dash comes on and you have to hit OK to 4-5 fault messages on the screen.
