Yeah the xxrs do have a very bad reputation, but hey at a buck 80 per wheel its almost to be expected. Anyway i keep coming back to this look. Bbs, work, chicanes, strauss, i forged, they all have them. But theyre either over 1k per wheel or the sizes are not up to snuff.
I know EXACTLY what you mean. I still love it every time I see a nicely setup car with a nice polished lip & a good offset. And in my quest to achieve that I either ran into poor quality, bad offset, too much weight or too expensive....or any combination of the above.

So a bit of background:
I do daily drive the eb, but i also track it once in a while. Autocross wise.
So i like the option to stick 285s all around for said days. For the life of me i cant get the car around the track as fast on a staggered setup. And yes i understand thats a lack of skill on my part.
Wow I can't believe how awesome you are....

yeah xxr's are a cheap wheel for hondas, hyundais, etc... spend some more on your mustang! money will be well spent.. quality and finish on xxr's isn't top notch... i had xxr 530s on a veloster turbo because it was a $20k car and wheels only cost $450 shipped lol

nice. i hope u went with a lower offset so that u can stretch the tires just a tad bit. most people are going with some wider than needed tires. looks to fatty.

glad some people are taking the euro and jdm route.

lets face it, when done right this is a audi s5 killer. and maybe even the bmw 6 series coupe., or maybe the poormans bmw 6 seies coupe.

I have some WORK cr2p's on order. They are 20x10 and 20x11 with the stepped lip.

The wheels themselves are a bit more than 3k but high, high quality as you know.

Just another option out there.

Here are mine with the stepped like and GT Silver centers.

it has an engine!
I personally find volks very over hyped. While i like works, i just dont find most import wheels worth the money. This is coming from someone that has popped before for true forged chicanes for my 14 gt500. I ended up selling them after one wheel got damaged i was crying (figuratively) when i had to buy a replacement. Ill stick with drag wheels or forgestars, personally.

I also think seeing Japanese wheels on American cars is weird. (Yes im aware forgestars are made in china) by Japanese i meant jdm brands
