widest I have seen is a 11" but that is something very unique

10" is perfect for the car 10.5 can be done but offsets have to be unique

Sooo, to get back to it...whats the widest the front can take without going past the fender? I kinda figure its 10 but hoping someone will tell me 10.5 is fine. If so i have found my wheel
It will all come down to what the offset is. What is the offset on the 10.5" wheel?

Right hehe..i got the shoes for me part covered, lets concentrate on the shoes for her:

Nice color choice on the car. Pic looks too artificial & grainy though IMO.

These cars can take some very wide setups front and back, just a matter of offset as others have said. No real need to go past 10" though, especially on a street driven eb. Plus if you go too wide with the tires in front you can run into problems like tramlining. You also reduce hydroplaning resistance, increase rolling resistance, and add more rotational mass. I think they max you should go up front is a 285 tire on a 9.5-10" wide wheel.

I hear you and I sympathize. A while back I got all excited because the Vossen Forged wheel VPS-301 was $2000. Now even this amount was over my budget, but I was tempted. Then I found out it was $2000/wheel! And no tires. So now we are talking well above $9000. Insane! Just makes me depressed. My entire mod budget won't even cover wheels.

TSW Bathurst Silver in 18 x 10.5 and 18 x 9 for $1088 (for all 4) shipped is looking good to me.

I love the look of those wheels, too. It's a very classic timeless look. The Polished lip with classic BBS-type mesh center. Unfortunately those XXR wheels kinda have a bad rap for being low quality and having poor offsets for our cars. However, I have seen them run in both 18's and 20's on these cars. I will try to find a pic of the guy with the 20's I think it looked great.

Yeah the xxrs do have a very bad reputation, but hey at a buck 80 per wheel its almost to be expected. Anyway i keep coming back to this look. Bbs, work, chicanes, strauss, i forged, they all have them. But theyre either over 1k per wheel or the sizes are not up to snuff.

So a bit of background:
I do daily drive the eb, but i also track it once in a while. Autocross wise.
So i like the option to stick 285s all around for said days. For the life of me i cant get the car around the track as fast on a staggered setup. And yes i understand thats a lack of skill on my part.
