Traditional meaning common or usual. It is not a "Hybrid" nor is it a "false" FPC V8.

Apply that same tradition to a cross plane configuration where literally hundreds of firing orders can be chosen. There really is no "Tradition" within the Mustang heritage for a FPC V8. Also, the Ferrarri can't automatically be considered a "traditional" FPC config...

The Porsches 60 degree Boxer would be pissed... It certainly is a Traditional FPC BUT, only in Porsche tradition.

Hybrid means something different from non-traditional. It implies a combination of 2 technologies.

No, "Not a True FPC" and "Hybrid" was communicated initially. Telling me it's not a true FPC is confusing... It would have me thinking it adopted some Cross Plane features somehow.

thePill beat me to it. :-)
Sorry bud, you get the next one...

I think we're all in agreement now.

Both Ford and Ferrari cranks are full, true, genuine, certified Flat Plane Cranks. Just different configuration. :-)

Bingo, which is exactly what I stated, which DK still refuted :headbonk:

Does anyone know if they've fitted a larger fuel tank? This was one of the major issues that I had with my e92 M3. A 16 gallon tank and a V8 meant I had to stop at the gas station more times than I was actually driving it and enjoying it.

It should have the same fuel tank. They would probably have to reengineer the chassis to get a larger tank to fit.

Just a slight exaggeration there.. :)

You will be stopping for gas fairly often, I'd say. I will try to give you a general idea/guess based on my experiences. When I fill my 2015 GT the range shows 320 or 330 miles, which works out to about 20 mpg I've been getting in my daily commute. I wouldn't be surprised if the GT350 has a range more like 250 miles for my commute. Longer if it's all highway or shorter if you're really hammering on it.

That was one of the things I didn't like about my GT500. At least a 18 gallon tank would have been nice.

Ok, maybe just a little. The point I was trying to make was, I'm hoping I'm not visiting the gas station three or four times a week. I love the car, and it's not going to stop me from buying the car, but just an annoyance that I disliked with my previous vehicle.

Yup. 18 Gallon tank would have been great on my M3.

Do the actual cars fitted for racing get a fuel cell or run as is? My first thought about the smallish gas tank is weight of fuel. The engineers cut as much weight as possible from this car.
