Gutted the PCV valve.

1. Cut off with a hacksaw, the first 2mm of the body.
2. Remove ALL the internals (watch for small spring), that they all fall out.
3. Reinstall
4. Hook up your UPR dual catch can line.


Too early to commit that its 100% fixed, will confirm on stop-n-go traffic on way home (but looks promising!).

Have we determined this is a 100% problem due to mods? Most notably the downpipe, whether catted or not?

28 page thread and you could have just answered the question. There is no rhyme or reason. To this problem. Some people with the same mods are having the problem some are not.

And who the hell goes through what you did and not take pictures and not even do a damn write up that's worth a damn? You wrote a half assed description on the how to of this then got mad and referred everyone back to your half assed description when they asked questions.

Do the damn mustang community a favor since you seemed to know what your doing and write up a decent how to with some pictures. I'm sure a lot of people here would greatly appreciate it and also future mustang owners who google the problem.

Oh im not trolling. That's great your car isn't smoking anymore. Hence the reason I posted what I did. I'm sure other people would like have the smoke problem fixed also. You have the knowledge on the how to, but are to damn lazy to write a decent description. Your post telling the guy to read through the thread instead of answering with a quick response made me decide to call you out. Background:
MAPerformance catless downpipe
MAPerformance exhaust
Livernois 93 tune
STOCK weight oil in Mobil-1 (not Rotela)
STOCK idle speed
STOCK plugs, regapped to .027"
UPR dual catch can
GUTTED PCV
