Now another one of you crafty dudes needs to come up with a PP install, so I can copy it. Thanks
His install makes me want to ditch my PP gauges and get the base dash bezel.

I'm with you... But I think I read somewhere that the part is like 1000. Bucks.

They should really let people option out the Performance Package a bit more. I would have loved the brakes and the suspension, but could care less for the wheels, Recaros, and the gauge that reads vacuum.

Ah, didn't know the Recaros were a separate option. Getting a base model with PP, I knew about. If you get the PP, the gauges are automatically included though, right?

Recaros are already a separate option and not included in the PP.

Only part of the PP I wish I had was the brakes, maybe the dampers since the aftermarket is lagging.

Everything else can either be added pretty cheaply (strut tower brace, k brace, underside k brace) or most people ditch the PP stuff for aftermarket anyhow. (Springs, sways, wheels)

I won't go that far, but there has to be an option for us other than the suck-tion cup

My intake and gauge shipped today btw. Wonder how long it'll take to get to the People's Republic of California tho

Vile the Bastage of Clan Bastage presents.... another video of the nGauge...

Now I'm going to go drink beer and play The Witcher 3 until I pass out and my wife finds me. Later!
Freaking nice install, looks like gauges will install into the A/C holes nicely.

I want to play Witcher 3 so bad but I need to play the first two still ;/

i received my nGauge but there are no instructions for usage, capabilities or procedures.

am I already supposed to know these things? pulling and clearing codes... loading tunes... resetting back to oem settings... data logging... etc

also I was never asked about my set up or needs, does that come later when I have to call lund because I dont know what I am doing? am I not supposed to provide some ecu information and or data logging to lund to get a properly customized tune?

curious.

Did you just purchase the device by itself, or did you buy a tune with it? If you bought a tune with it, you would have had to fill out a digital form with all pertinent information (specifically your mods and what octane fuel you have available). Lethal would have passed this info on to Lund, who would have made a tune for your mods.

If you didn't purchase the tune through Lethal, you can contact Lund directly and have them set up a tune based on your needs.

Also, you haven't really said much about your car. Did you have an SCT X4 with a tune on it before? Does your ECU have the stock settings on it? Etc.

To pull or clear codes, after you have plugged the nGauge into the OBDII, put your car into accessory mode (turn on your electronics, but don't start the motor). Your nGauge will boot up into it's gauge mode, giving you four blank quadrants because you haven't told it what to monitor yet. Disregard this for now. Tap on the screen and hit the exit button. You will be brought to the menu. Hit the onscreen button that says Diagnostic. From here you will see an option to read codes and clear them. It will also have an option for making a copy of your stock tune.

To load tunes, pull the microSD card out of the device and plug it into a Windows or OS X device (you will need an SD card reader). Once plugged in, it will behave just like any thumb drive. You will have access to the nGauge file system. The folders are clearly marked, so you will know where to drop your custom tunes, and you will know where your stock tune is stored.

If you don't have an SD card reader, leave the microSD card in the nGauge and plug the nGauge up to your Windows or OS X device via USB cable. After the device boots up, hit the Diagnostic key and go to your Activate USB SD button. Hit that, and now your nGauge will behave like an SD card reader.

As for uploading tunes to your vehicle.... there is a button that says tuning. Hit that and follow the instructions. I posted a video in this forum of me playing around with the device in my car. I know I at least explain the file system and how to load tunes and update the firmware, and even where to get it.

If you have any questions shoot me a PM. I usually work the graveyard shift on base, but I'm off tonight so I'll be up until about 6AM CST.

I ordered mine through lethal. They sent me an email the day after I purchased it with a form I had to fill out with all that info. Car can't be tuned without it mating to your pcm. I'm sure depending in who you ordered through will have you give them your info sooner or later.

Thanks guys... got mine directly from Lund. No questions about my set up or needs... I guess I figured they would take care of that after I received the device and did some logging... but like I said, there are no instructions on how to even begin the whole process.

I was under the impression that you neded to do so logging or performance runs, send thos to lund so they could se how your vehicle was running then send you back a custom tune...
