Drag Radial Basic/General Questions

A couple of quick questions:

Current setup is 19" x 9.5 ET 30 GF06 Wheels & stock Pirelli 255/40/19

Does my current wheel/tire size matter for the D/R or can I just get anything ?
What size D/R is recommended ?
What size wheel to get for D/R ?
Can I use regular tires & wheels for the front?

That's about that I'm looking for. 295's all that's available?

That's all I saw on that website. I've decided to go with the M/T Street Radial II 305/??/?? I still don't know what's best for the other 2 measurements? Looking at Weld RT-S maybe 17x10 and I see M/T Pro 5 wheels (only see 15" & 16") but I haven't been told many others from calling a few places. Looks like it comes out to $1500-$2000 when all is said and done.

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread, I'm looking into drag radials as well but I've never had any experience with them. I've seen a few people using stock 17's from previous generation mustangs as there drag wheels, that seems like a good low-cost option.

I think I read somewhere on our forum that the rear of our cars require at lest 17" wheels due to all the brakes and IRS crap back there.

Looks like a good deal there. Does anyone know how much of a difference there would be between these two setups?

17x9.5 with a 295 tire
17x10 with a 305 tire

Also saw some different options with Weld's. What's the difference between low, medium, and high pad?

I have a set of nitto nt05r drag radials on my rear PP wheels in a 305-35-19 and they look great and perform pretty well also.
