I have a 2015 GT Performance Pack, full BMR suspension otherwise completely stock. Not the ideal car for the strip but I do enjoy taking it out once in awhile. I live twenty minutes from the track. Im looking for a DOT wheel/tire combo I can bolt on in the garage, drive to the track, make some passes, drive home, bolt on my daily setup. Not looking to spend $600.00 on wheels alone.

I have read in the forums a stock New Edge 17"x9" wheel will fit the car. I also noticed everyone using them is going with a bias ply tire. I understand a larger sidewall is better.

The question is finding a DOT drag radial.
What is more important overall diameter or sidewall height?
Is it better to purchase an 18" or 19" wheel just to keep the overall diameter and sidewall the same as stock?

Did alot of research, the sidewall is important for hooking right and the diameter is depending your power level,so buy yourself some Racestar grey 17x9.5 and get the Nittos Nt05r
Contact beefcake for the wheels,he gave me a great price
