Any one else notice that the bezel they show in the video looks bent/broken by the clips?

resolution is horrible, sometimes not responsive, and very slow. They should've just stick to making a bezel and let us choose the navi.

I'm interested at $999 if the backup camera still working is confirmed.

It is quite possible if this system performs as seen in the video. Raxiom has a habit of rebranding other companies tech as their own... The plus would that it would be sold on sites like AM if that happens. This is very interesting for $999 if it is 1) stable in operations and 2) interfaces with sync well. The speed and responsiveness in the video isn't to bad. On top of that this was probably a prototype so the final retain unit could very well be better.

800x480 is used by almost every automaker for their infotament screens. It is terrible by tablet and phone standards but nothing out of the ordinary for a nav system.

I care about infotainment
If only someone could find a way to seamlessly integrate the new Android Auto enabled Pioneer head unit into the base model I'd probably just go with that instead of spending money on GT Premium w/PP.

I need that video interface so I can do this again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Curious why you want video screens for the back seats? Do you carry munchkins that need intertainment a lot? Or VERY small adults that are as bored as munchkins? ;)

No doubt they were hacking away at the original until they got the fitments they wanted. I don't view that as an issue. $1600 is okay for something like that IF it's as they say.

We are going to need some guinea pigs eventually. I love the media inputs and multiple interfaces they allow you to access. I also love the stock look. My huge question is the Bluetooth steering controls. That is a significant downside if I have to look down at the screen and take my hand off the wheel to answer a phone call or start voice commands. Another huge downside is dealing with a company in China. Some of them are awesome with customer service and reputation on sites like eBay. I'm on my phone so I didn't browse the site too much.

I still applaud them for what they were able to do in that video. Good stuff. There are definitely going to be solutions down the line.
