I have heard nothing from a "new" tune. ProCharger said they would announce on here when they are sending the new tunes. Did you get a new tune from them?
Yeah. The car had a funny idle but ran great the first two or three drive cycles then it started doing the same thing it was doing before but now it's got that weird sound when I push on the clutch. How's your car running?

The second tune they sent me had idling issues so I went back to the original tune. But from what I understand, the third tune hasn't been sent out yet. Procharger mentioned in a previous post that he would post here when it's released. Did you receive a third tune?

I'm still on the 2nd tune as well. I've put about 500 miles on it. Nothing really got better nor worse, still have the mid-range studder/surge and idle issues (which causes the CEL.)

So if you get a custom tune then you won't have any problems, it's just the canned tune? Whats so hard about getting a correct canned tune when other tuners are able to tune the PC just fine? This issue is gonna hurt future sales, glad I didn't jump the gun.

It's not that.

The 2015 PCM is very tricky, combine that with the fact that ford keeps releasing new pcm codes.

And to be honest, not everyone can do what lund can do with these cars.

Why do you think companies like vmp are looking to lund to take over their tuning. That way they can concentrate on the manufacturing process and putting out the best possible product, and let the people that really know these computers and can do things others cant, do the tuning.

Why do you think shops that were posting big numbers on the dyno, 4,5,even 6 months ago plus, have no track data.....

Because they can't get the cars down the track. There is a big difference from making a WOT pull on the dyno, and getting the throttle and torque tables and and everything to do what you want it to do!!!

I said it in October, the 2015 will separate the men from the boys.

Why do you think AM posted a 9sec 1/4 mile vid, at a 1/4 mile track.....but only running it til the 1/8 mile and estimated it was a 9sec car. lol

Don't be harsh on the guys. Every mfg is having revisions done.

There are many competent tuners that can tune. The problem with the new ECU is that not all of the tuning tables were there. Like for instance cam angle tuning. It's just not all there yet.

This and the fact that many of the big power 2015s have already met their demise. We do not to any remote tuning because its my choice not to, but the cars that have came in with "base" tunes have been in most cases extremely unacceptable. Regarding both power output and horrendous drive ability.

Correct, it wasn't.... it is now finally. :)
There was a LOT of missing information, however Ford also changed a lot!
(and quickly, as they were updating their own files)

The HO tune revision #2, has gone well.
The final person that has to "sign off" on it, does so tonight.

If he gives the green light, all update emails for STG2 and HO will go tomorrow.

And thats the update as I log off and walk out the door.
Have a good evening everyone.

800+ on a stock engine is big power. Bigger than most have done so far ;).
Just giving you a hard time. I really like your build actually. Maybe the most successful PC/Supercharger so far? Phunk seems to be doing well with his Whipple though.

All in the tuning. Eric Brooks is the man and HPTuners is definitely the right tool to use.
