If you read the PCM, and it doesn't have the updated revision in it.Can always just read the pcm.
It will do no good. Then you just have a HPTuners version of the file with the same issue.
As stated, HO testing should wrap up today. (STG2 is done)
Revision #2 will go out tomorrow, in time for the weekend.
All systems, ship with revised tunes no matter what.
Hence why the number of people with the "issue" is not growing.
All we are trying to do is get through those that still have it from long ago.
Thanks man! Keep and eye on your email.Man, you have a very good quallity product, I know that, I installed it.
This post is important, you are giving us a date. That's what we need, Just more info.
Basically, our first tune (as I am sure HPT, Diablo, and SCT)Is this only happening to premium performance pack cars? Just asking because most the cars with issues seem to be pp cars.
Was designed around the first round of cars that went out to dealers.
(basically 2 files, stick and auto)
There has been at least 3 Ford revisions (thus 6, total counting trans) that I have personally seen myself.
(And I have heard of rumors of 8 total (aka16), though I can't confirm that since I have not seen that)
Each time Ford makes these revisions.
HPTuners, Diablo, SCT, etc. all need to update their mapping.
That way the "tune" we send out, overlays correctly.
All these companies have done amazing jobs of updating things as fast as possible. Literally everyone has been on the ball.
It takes us a bit longer, because we have to actually "verify" that everything works. That way we don't send out tune revisions to people, and end up with a bunch of broken motors.
