Title basically says it all. I get tons of brake dust from these Brembos. (and the PP wheels SUCK to clean) My previous car that had them was not nearly as bad. Is it just the way i drive, or are other people experiencing the same thing?

Nope, I clean my weekly and it doesn't build up that much. I don't find these wheels that bad to clean. But I came from style 135 BMW wheels...complete pain in the ass to get clean.

I have the same issue. I have to clean them weekly too, I think that will get old quickly

Well, i have new wheels coming in very soon. So, that part will be going away in the near future. However, i do not like the idea of HAVING to clean wheels on a weekly basis, but i guess i have to in order to keep them blingin.

I never noticed with my 2011 GT, but I have a long, gravel driveway so it's impossible to keep my car clean. I often don't even try.

The original justification given for why 2015 PP wheels were black-only was that the Brembos gave so much brake dust and black hides it better.

Stock up on cleaning supplies now, bro. The Bronze Burst loses the "burst" part after about 75-100 miles depending on how you drive. I generally clean once a week with the rest of the car - about 200 miles of driving if I take the Mustang to work everyday.

Carbotech Bobcat pads are the answer. Barely any dust and when they do it doesn't stick to the wheel as much.

Not sure how I feel about that. The fronts end up looking brown while the rears are still black lol. That's when they're dirty, of course.

Lol. Man, don't go telling me that! I recently purchased some of the Chem Guys Series Wheel Cleaner the other day, so I guess I'll have to just keeping a bottle of that with me at all times as well as a terry cloth.

(Btw, the wheels are supposedly shipping out this week!)

Yeah I have the CG wheel guard on them as well. Wipes off pretty easy and it's really only the fronts that have the dust issue. The rears will look good for much longer.

I sold my OE PP wheels and now have Forgestars with brushed titanium faces. They have to be cleaned every week too. The Brembos do seem to generate a lot of brake dust.

Yea, apparently I'm the last person in the world to get mine. :frusty:
