I'm also thinking about these same two upgrades. I asked my Ford dealer about the installation cost of the lowering springs. I was told that the job would take 8 hours to complete and at a cost of $965 in labor!!! :eyebulge:
Does that seem excessive? A labor rate of $120.63/hr certainly seems excessive!!! What have people been paying to install a lowering spring set?
That is ridiculous, I just had my steeda springs installed by Gearhead Performance in Arlington TX. Travis put two guys on the job and it took 1.5 hours to install them for $250.00. From the time I arrived until the time I drove away was under 2 hours. I cannot recommend these guys enough.
True, I guess that commute for some springs would be brutal..:doh:If only I was in TX. ;)
im not surprised about what they quoted you. i was quoted $1,600 for stripes. i literally laughed at the guy.I'm also thinking about these same two upgrades. I haven't had mine installed yet (just got it) but the specs show it's compatible with both:does this shifter work with the reverse lock out and back up camera?
