As someone who turbo's about everything, if I had intentions to only keep the stock engine for long lasting miles, mostly stock drivetrain, DD I would probably go with a centri unit with a "tq booster". Pulley it to the max speed of the unit, and adjust boost as needed.

I though...would still go against my advice and go turbo. Mainly because I like quite cars that aren't noisy.
Couldn't agree more.

Been the supercharger route too many times, this time it's going to be a turbo.

once you go turbo, you will never want to go blower again. Just be warned.

How do y'all feel about a centri car as a daily...even in the north, on snow tires.

How do you feel about that same car with a stall? 2c or 3c

Centri as a daily is fine. You can drive the car all day and not hit boost one time if you don't want to.

Any blower for a daily is fine on these cars. A Centri would be fun though:)

I'm trying to hold off til I get some miles on this puppy before I take that plunge...I'm thinking the procharger is gonna be the way I go. Just trying to decide what all else I may or may not need with it

I was very close to getting a dealer installed roush unit...but decided against it. I'm gonna hafta let the wallet recoup from the first round of mods and get some miles on her before I'm comfortable letting go of that warranty...but it's inevitable...she's gonna get FI

My car is not a DD just a weekend toy so I went SC'ed. I have 4 vehicles 2 of OEM turbos ( a Ford & a BMW). I am not a fan of the turbo, I don't like the turbo lag ,,,my opinion only. I have a factory SC vehicle and love it!!!! But my GT, if I was and when I did, the best that car ran day in and day out was just with a CAI and a Brenspeed 91tune. Good power, smooth predictable driving at all RPM's. Don't get me wrong love my SC'er but if I were to DD, CAI & a good tune from a reliable vender. That's just my opinion.

The Whipple with their tune drives better than stock.. Heck most any FI cars tuned properly drive better than stock .. Only way to go in my opinion
