Have you contacted any of the helpful vendors here on the forum

Many of them have installed these and might be able to give you better insight

I've always heard that the Roush whines the loudest, but I could be mistaken

You really really need to do some reading and research. All the blowed have different strengths and weaknesses, good points and bad (all have very few bad thankfully).

Begin by being very specific about what you want and then call a dealer. Someone like terry at beefcake racing or American muscle, or livernois (just a few of the supporting vendors here, sorry to those not listed). They will be able to make sure you make the best decision

Beware! There are people here (everywhere) who will recommend one or the other without knowing what your goals are. They can be fan bois who, their favorite is good for them,or dealers who sell only one style, but listening to them can get you a whole lot lighter on money and unhappy with the end product.

Personally, I like the Edelbrock setup mainly because it looks factory stock, comes with everything you need to install it, and there is very little cutting or drilling. However, the current Coyote 5.0 superchargers they produce are too high to fit under the hood, but they are working on a new lower variant that will fit without having to replace the hood.

This is good advice!

I recommend that you do what I did before putting a blower on my old car.

I read everything that I could on blowers and figured out what I wanted. Get as much info as you can on them and talk to peeps that have blowers (noting both pros and cons), decide what you want the car to do and then make your decision from there. If you do your due diligence and get it right, your face will hurt from smiling/grinning!

It's a bunch of money to be unhappy with your final choice (it might not be a lot to you, I'm just speaking from my POV).

Good Luck!

yes. read the forum dedicated to FI (forced induction) for V8. it is of great use. I'm going to use a pro charger when the time is right. or a twin turbo....haha. 90 percent sure I'm going with a pro charger.

Thanks for the input guys. im in the infant stages and didn't know where to look or which to buy, this is why I posted so I could start reading and understanding about the supercharger.

A friend at work has a 2013 GT 500 and I love the sound the charger makes. when I got my PP GT I thought the power was plenty, now I want more, so I watched the video from CJ PP when he installed a supercharger on his GTPP and I was sold at that point.

Yes, we developed the kit for/with Ford Racing so essentially they are the same TVS kit. There is already a large supercharger thread so I'll keep it short but the TVS is a perfect choice for the guy who is wanting something that drives great and makes power right away. If you have specific questions I'd strongly suggest calling our sales dept at (800)597-6874 and we would be happy to discuss the differences with you.

What about weight? How much do they add to the front of the car? Are any significantly less weight than others? Do they affect performance when cornering like on a track or windy road?
