I'm curious, did you guys keep stock cams/valvetrain? That's a very high RPM range compared to stock, are the springs and everything holding up?

Also... a cam swap or at least a modified lobe for the fuel pump might help the fueling situation, allowing more actuation.

We may have developed some valve train secret sauce. However, I will neither confirm or deny my previous statement. :clap2:

Keen eye Mr. Cosmo !!

Pricing on piston/rods?

I prefer a quality I beam, but I know they're generally more $$$.

Factory fuel system!

For obvious reasons, the turbo spools slower. :)

Hard to compare the power at 15 psi on a small turbo to 1 psi on a larger turbo, at the same Engine speed. :D

We are deliberately keeping TQ down. :p
I might have missed something but why are you keeping torque down?

Some very impressive results. I am a little confused-are those dyno results with just the upgraded turbo or with the upgraded internals too?

Does the top end feel healthy or does it have that "over rev hang" feeling to it?

Again, very impressive!

cheers

Thanks! We're all happy with the results of this dyno. This car has an upgraded turbo as well as the FFTEC built motor. FYI this motor has stronger forged pistons and rods so it can handle the stress of high horsepower. We elected to keep the head stock to keep the tuning consistent.

The car feels great! As you can see from the dyno chart it keeps pulling well beyond redline. I almost wish the rev limit was higher, I think it would make easy power for another 500 rpm. Once this turbo is released to the public I think you guys/gals are going to love it!

About 40 rwhp more than my dyno tuned 5.0 and almost identical peak torque numbers. Little bastard should fly!

Can't wait to see what it can do with some head work and a more RPM. Guess the stock fuel system isn't as bad as people think...

Also impressive these numbers are on a mustang dyno and not a dynojet.

The big question is...will the stock long block survive at these levels? Gotta start shipping kits so others can experiment...
