So eventually, in the near future, Id like to do some bolt ons (CAI, exhaust, FMIC) but I don't want a tune (I don't want one just yet-I have my reasons) would it be smart to do these bolt ons without a tune or am I wasting my money?

Noticeable gains need a tune, I would do a catback.

Yeah, I wanna do a catback. Would do a catted downpipe, but looks like most companies aren't making catted downpipes

That will require a tune

you can do intake, catback and intercooler and not need a tune and still gain power but youd need tune to maximize, if you aren't tuning for warranty reason you definitely don't want to remove your cat.

I don't want a tune just yet because I wanna see more real world testing mostly on longevity, and I wanna see what FRPP comes out with later.

MAP, COBB and others have catted DP's.

If you aren't getting a tune the mod with the most benefit out of all the ones listed is the IC. The stock IC will heat soak relatively quickly even at stock power levels.

I'd agree. If you aren't going with a tune, get a FMIC first. It'll produce the best, most consistent results.

Well, if you are a believer in dyno numbers then both a CAI and an exhaust will garner good HP results without the need for a tune. These mods would be even better with a tune, but you should see some improvement.

I'm in this boat. Have Catback, intercooler, and soon to bolt on the CAI. there's definitely a difference from stock. Id' say with this combo the biggest difference is lack of heat soak, but you do have some extra power.

Not as huge as a tune, but i'm with you on the waiting a bit longer.
