Thank you to the person on here who mentioned him, too.
Specifically, thanks to PoopOnYou for scoring that gem of a service manager (Joe Green) on his third try, and also to mvp90805 for posting the TSB. I posted it on another stang forum I am with, and the guys there were very appreciative.

Hey bro, those squealing brakes probably saved you from getting a STD!

Well pretty much what I expected with my luck. Went down to my local dealership, told them about my problem and that I would like it fixed per the TSB that just released (which I showed them the picture that was posted on here of the TSB). I was told that they haven't heard of it and they can't take what I show them on a picture as proof. I told them there is a 22 page thread on a mustang forum of people with this problem, which they said they can't use a forum and what people say as proof of a problem. I said that the TSB just came out and that they would have to order the parts. They said legally they cannot order the parts for a problem that they don't know if it exists or not and that they would have to hear and replicate the problem. I explained it isn't every single time and is usually later at night when it is cooler outside that it seems to happen more. They said doesn't matter they have to be the ones to replicate the problem and that they cannot take a look to replicate it until Monday. So I have to go back Monday, and if they, not me, they can't replicate it, they can't order the parts. So yeah, I can foresee my problem not being fixed.

Record a video to use as proof to show them. I know they will still say they have to replicate it, but at least they will have an idea of what it sounds like. Contact the Ford Service rep that is on this thread and have him get in touch with your RSM, and if they still refuse to help the RSM should be able to help you. When they said no to me the first time, I did that and now they just ordered the parts for me as soon as the TSB came out. Good luck man.

Yes!! Hurray!! I've been waiting for the answer to this embarrassing sound. Like others, i was on a date last night to watch Cinderella premiere and the squealing popped out at the wrong time...and my date looked at me with weird expression. I had to make an excuse of needing to "break-in" the brakes... She drives a '15 BMW 3series and was like "I can break it in for you like how i did on my BM..." I was like... "uh do you know how to drive stick?" Then she got quiet and said, "this is a stick?" Right there and then i won some brownie points with her expression! #smoothdriver #goodnight. Still... It was an embarrassing experience...

That said... I just have to print out the TSB 15-0030 and show it to the dealership (Galpin Ford) i purchased my car, right?

Hey Varekai,

Send over a PM with your VIN, mileage, name, phone number, and dealer info. I'll look into resources on my end to assist. I want to help get this taken care of.

Also, I know I've spoken with a few of you, but anyone else who needs further assistance, please let me know. :D

You shouldn't have to do anything if you've already taken your car to them and they're aware of the issue. I don't know why you or any of us need to print out the TSB. All they need to do is look it up on their computer. You can save yourself the time and call them today and have a service advisor look it up. Then you schedule an appt with that advisor so you don't get someone saying, "I haven't heard about a TSB".
Like V8Venom has said, get a hold of FordService on these forums and get a case # if you haven't already been to your dealer. I bet the regional service manager is aware of the the TSB and they can call the dealer to have them do the work and avoid the BS.
Good Luck Guys/Gals.

Sooooo...

I got the Ecoboost with the Performance Package.

My Brakes "Squeal" at the wrong times and it's a little embarrassing...

Like last night.. trying to drop off my girl at her parent's house in a stealthy fashion, pull into the drive way, lights Off and then I brake... [enter high pitched squealing noise]

Took the car down today to the dealer (Ford of Montebello)... they couldn't replicate the problem (of course) and said they can't order parts until it's replicated per "procedure".... a waste of 2 hours today :tsk::tsk::tsk:

Looking for some help :hail: @FordService @FORD

I had a similar experience today. I took my car in for an oil change and asked to make an appointment to have the TSB done. Everyone looked at me like I was from outer space. Then after some back & forth, the advisor tried to give me some garbage about it being due to moisture buildup in the brakes from sitting overnight. He didn't even try to confirm the TSB.

Long story short, I fired the dealer. I've purchased three Mustangs from them and have had pushback on warranty work with each and every one. It's time to move on.

I think since this issue is one of those things that only happens at certain times, having a video to show them can really help. I think we all know when it is going to happen, usually at first startup and braking at low speeds are the common times. That can help for knowing when to hit that record button. If you guys look back one or two pages in this post you will find the TSB. If you give them that TSB number they should have access to it. I would say go to FordOwner.com and type in your VIN but the TSB is not showing up for my VIN yet and I doubt it will show up for yours.

Other than that my suggestions are to PM Jeff, above, and he can help you guys out. Jeff was extremely helpful with getting me hooked up with my RSM. My dealer was doing the same thing and once the Regional Service Manager spoke to them, it basically sorted itself out. Having a video was very helpful as well. I made sure to narrate and then get out of the vehicle after it made the noise and record the VIN, just to be safe, in case they wanted to say something like, "how do we know that's this car." Good luck and I hope this helps. This post is the reason I even knew this was happening to other people and got the TSB, so I am very thankful to those here who guided me and I believe it was MVP who posted the TSB (I hope that's right), so I hope I can help as well.

Who was your service advisor? Miguel is pretty helpful. You should have spoken to Rigo.
