I know there are many who wish to keep their halo mustang as stock as the day she rolled off the line, but then there's people like me:D who already have a pre-thought out modding plan for the car way before I even buy into it, I don't do cause I'm unhappy with the stock setup but because I know the potential it has and that there's always more on the table, I will drive the car stock for awhile and probably only do 1-2 mods at a time so I can appreciate each one more so. But what I'll probably end up doing is keeping the car N/A as it should be, longtube headers with offroad exhaust and catback, Cold Air Intake(most likely JLT), proper Dyno tune, Mgw shifter, tint, FFRP gt350 lowering springs(I hope they end up making these), and depending on how good the stock bushing are for the front and rear suspension I might end up doing polyurethane bushings all around. That's probably going to be it for me for awhile, so what about y'all?

Maybe lower springs if they work with the magneride. Tint and most likely HRE wheels. That's it...

I'm hoping to get an R and plan on putting in a roll cage and racing harness.

Probably exhaust/tune.

Hardest part will be waiting to hear all the exhausts.. will be pretty unlikely to hear one in person prior to ordering.

First mod, is acquire more money.

One a serious note, I plan on looking into all the lightweighting options from the GT350R, so the aluminum rear bumper for sure, maybe with a consider to getting the CF wheels. As there is nothing that comes close in terms of lightness, strength, cost, and testing with consideration to mustang wheels.

I am not sure if I am going to go the Base GT350 route or the Track pack. The Track Pack is my type of car. However I would like to keep the car as simple, light, and affordable as possible.

Outside of GT350R mods, I would consider an exhaust, and intake. However I wouldn't want to loose the exhaust note it currently has, just extenuate it.

And these are likely the only mods worth doing. And tent but thats not really a mod.

The only addition I will make is a blue side stripe like the stock blue stripes for the hood and roof. This car will be a collector for me.

The GT350 already has a cold air intake.

I expect I may have to do something with the seats so that I fit into them. No other mods planned at this time.

As did the 13-14 GT500, but when switched out for a JLT CAI, they made more power

Will keep mine completely unmolested. Better resale value. The only thing I can see doing is putting a set of the CF wheels & wider tires on (GT350, not GT350R). For only 5,000 units a year, doubt many manufacturers will step up to make anything.

Yep if I were to get HRE's on mine they would be the same width and offset and tire size as the carbon R wheels/tires.

I don't mod for the sake of modding, only what I feel needs to be upgraded. I'll likely wait 2-4 months and just enjoy the car as is. The only upgrade I can foresee is a set of Forgeline GA3R wheels shown on the GT350 Nurbugring prototypes. If I manage to get more into road racing I'll consider a rear seat delete/roll bar install with harnesses for more track days.

I would wait at least 6 months before tuning the engine, being that it is not only a new design, but also a first for Ford with the mass-production FPC engine and a first for the industry for such a large FPC V8 engine.
