Yes, it is already filling up fast. As mentioned, once Shelby American announces available slots will be gone in hours (most likely) it was announced at this years event.

I agree. I almost wish Steve would have a separate event with Shelby American. But then I'm sure all the attendees of the past GT350 events would still want to attend the SA event too. After experiencing this event first hand, the Shelby involvement may have some cool factors to it, but I can see this is one event you don't want to get too big. It would ruin the driving portion, and that's the main gig. Right now, it's intimate and manageable. I would not want that large crowd. If it were just a car/trade show setting, then sure. But not trying to keep that many cars on the road having a great time without attracting too much unwanted attention...which we were already skirting as it is.
This is what I am afraid will happen. The event will become too large to enjoy. But the nature of things when they are real good. I’m headed again next year but concerned this will be the last intimate year. Steve and his wife have done too good of job of organizing and running the event I guess. Their huge success catches the attention of the main players. Maybe the other event will remain steady at 100. Success breeds success and progress. After experiencing this event first hand, the Shelby involvement may have some cool factors to it, but I can see this is one event you don't want to get too big. I would not want to attend a much bigger event. Steve and his wife have done such a phenomenal job the last three years the only way this could go is bigger. Success breeds success and progress. A smaller limited number has kept it welcoming. Once Shelby American is fully involved then the event will grow tremendously. That is not a bad thing though. I am just afraid the little guy like myself will be pushed out. Not intentionally at all, but just by the shear numbers, investment, and costs associated with Shelby American. As Steve mentioned other events do cost more, sometimes because of these reasons. The more successful this event became the more attention it will get from others. I was lucky I was able to attend this year’s event and registered for next year. Shelby American will bring huge excitement and ramp up to another level of attention in the US and perhaps the rest of the world. I hope to attend as many years as possible (physically/financially/time wise). Congrats to those who have gone in previous years and good luck to those who want to attend future ones.I agree. Thank you. I will be signing up shortly!Next years event is posted to sign up. Sounds like it will be open to 150 slots. Shelby American will be announcing it soon via their marketing and it will probably fill up very quickly then.
Four days ago there was already over 60 signed up from this past event.
