Here to help with any questions you may have!
Anything for the V6 tune wise in production?

Yes! Nice to hear the offer. Have you got anything for my 2011 GT lying around? Maybe a lightly used forced induction system that's taking up space?

Where are you located?

It's been a few weeks. The '12 GT that I was going to buy got sold to someone else while I was looking at it for the third time. Once it sold to someone else I became sure I would have settled on it.

But now I'm decided to go with a V6 or eBoost anyway.

The low cost, regular fuel requirement of the V6 really appeals. But the eBoost is just so, so .... hip! I mean, it's the latest thing. And I'm a latest thing kind of guy.

Does anyone have or is there a link for reliable dyno charts for both engines?

You're getting a base car, right? Otherwise get the ecoboost. You're not tuning either, right? Then it just comes down to sound/reliability of the v6 vs some power on paper of the ecoboost. And hipness factor goes to the ecoboost I suppose.

"Base" usually means the cheapest car, the V6 in this case. The EcoBoost engine is an upgrade. You mean the regular eBoost as opposed to Premium? Yes. I don't want the Premium eB. Just the regular eB or the V6.

[I don't care about the leather or the Shaker system. In fact, I don't want them or power seat because then I can't put my amplifier under the seat.]

The nightmare for me is that I'm pulling into the higher RPM ranges of third gear while passing three semi-trucks on a two lane highway and the turbo boost plays out as I'm coming to the crest of a hill and the end of the passing zone. I want it to keep pulling.

Test drive them both. Both great cars and I'd be pretty happy no matter what, but the V6 just 'called' to me more. A lot of it is the sound and character of an NA engine.

The eco is getting that still under warranty Ford tune as well. It might help with that 5.5k power loss or might make it attractive enough power wise to go over the V6.

All about reliability for me, though.

Lol it's not like it shuts off at 5500. Trust me this has plenty of pull to pass uphill. The speed you'll be traveling after passing 3 semi trucks would scare me more. These cars are so smooth and get over 100 very quick.

That's reassuring. That's the first comment to that effect I've seen. I can't really road test both of these drive trains by taking them out at a dealer. I'd like to know what happens if and when you get to the end of the turbo rush.
Are you aware of any horsepower/torque dyno charts that show the performance of the two engines?

Iam sure they're out there I haven't compared them though.Power falls off at 5500 yes but it still continues to accelerate.Just shift and be right in the meat of the power. I've got an auto so it does the shifting for me,I put it in sport mode and stomp it. I have never felt underpowered while passing. I hit 90-100 more than I'd like though. I think any of these motors will have more than enough for the average semi aggressive daily driver. I think I may go test drive a v6 today so I have a direct comparison.

See if you can find one with 3.55 for a direct engine to engine comparison

Here's the dynos.

Ecoboost:

V6:

Looks like the HP curve is similar with the V6 being down on about 20 torque to the wheels. Hard to notice.. I didn't when I drove them both. But I didn't take either over 5k in test driving.
