I had a 2011 V6 and now have a 2015 GT. The GT isn't noticably faster in daily driving where you never see the far side of 3,000 rpm.As the owner of a 2012 5.0, I would say a 2015 v6 is a downgrade when it comes to the speed and thrill factor. The newer car is nicer,, rides better, and has a decent interior (since it's only the base model.) but I would never be happy with a v6 vs. 5.0.
And the only things Premium S197's had that base S550's are lacking are leather seats (which were crappy quality in the S197) and ambient lighting. And upgraded audio, I guess. But SYNC with Bluetooth and USB connectivity are now standard, along with the backup camera and everything else.
