With gasoline being so expensive right now, have you changed your driving habits to increase your fuel economy? Right now I'm using 11.4l/100kms which translates to 20.632 mpg. I find I'm using 5th and 6th gear more often than not. And this is driving mostly on 80 km/h (50 mph) and 60 km/h (37.28 mph) on a 16km (10 mile) each way daily commute. I've been as high as 13.6l/100km (17.3 mpg) and as low as 9.4l/100km (25 mpg). I only use Shell 93 octane with the occasional tank of Petro-Canada 94 octane. My car is a 2021 Mustang GT with the Performance Pack, non-active exhaust, no magnaride and the 6-speed with 3.73 rear.

I'm actually getting around 12-14 L/100km (17-19 MPG) on my daily runs. Your 11.4 L/100km is impressive for a GT with 3.73 gears.

I did an expressway trip recently and got 25 and change MPG cruising 75 - 80 MPH on 93 octane. For my normal fun driving, I don’t even keep close track. I think it’s around 17.

Don't know & don't care... drive it, fill it up, drive it, repeat, repeat, repeat.
Concerning yourself with a car that has a Gas Guzzler tax seems like a waste of time.

I tend to agree… I keep track of it just out of the pure curiosity of it all

I’m actually not driving mine a ton at the moment, have gone over 3 weeks without having to fill up. On the highway, I can get 25-26mpg pretty easily. 15-16mpg putzing around town. But, to build on what Dave said, I’m in it for the smiles. We don’t buy big beefy V8’s for the gas mileage.

2015 pp GT 3.73 gears 25 mpg with 91 oct on the days I care. 17 to 19 mpg on the days I don't care, and I don't care most of the time. I was down to 30 miles to empty on the gauge, and it took $83.00 to fill the tank. I didn't buy the car for the milage I bought it for the performance, and it does not disappoint. So, stop whining and drive your cars like you stole it.

Hah, no. Watching the fuel gauge drop is like watching the needle on the speedo go up. Its a GT500. There might as well be a hole in the tank. That being said.....it will do 19-20MPG all highway in cruise it just takes....restraint. Take off the wing and stuff, and that can get to nearly 25.

I used to average 21 mpg on my 2018 GT convertible, but got close to 30 mpg on a couple of 2 hour trips.
