Just curious what people have gotten. Also if you don't mind jotting down year and if there are bolt on mods since that probably helps.

I myself have an airaid cone and flow master cat back with the resonator removed. Best I've done?

My combined average according to the computer is around 21MPG, with a 50/50 highway/city commute. Feels more like 18 with how often I visit the pump though. Straight highway the best I've seen with the hills around here is 27.

Highway on a 550 mile trip, air raid cai and bassani catback, average 22mpg, but this was running at 100+ MPH a lot of the trip "most"of the trip. Leaving tomorrow on a 400+ trip in the mountains. Will update.

Not counting instant mpg (which is easy to get to 99.9)

Best average highway (so far) - ~17mpg (avg 65-70 mph) - ~60 mile trip

Best average around town (so far) - ~13.5mpg - daily commuting

2019 GT350 - K&N filter, exhaust resonator delete

Still better than my 2011 GT500 around town though - that averaged mid 12's

I’ve only got 1756 miles on her, 2020 5.2L SC V8. I’ve gotten a best of 18.9 per the cars indicator on my trip the other day. 150 miles of highway driving on that trip, very little city driving.

overall AVG for the 1756 miles is 13.8 ‍♂

On a long trip, I got it up to 26.7 mpg hwy. My local driving is down at between 13-15 but more so 13. Only when I gt some hwy do I bump that up.

Running the Ford Performane PP2 tune w/91 octane I can consistently get 30 mpg on the Highway. Put her in 6th, cruise on 80 and its just cruises along.

I can get 21 at 60 mph...... speed limit on highways is 70 mph around me. Can’t be cruising around in a Shelby doing 10 mph under the speed limit!! Especially with gray hair when all these young whippersnappers wanna race

Just over 30 mpg on my completely stock '19 GT. This was while taking a 5 hr trip and staying on the back roads, mostly in low 6th gear. Wish I took a picture.

I don't drive conservatively, so I'm not sure how good I could get.

With 4.10s in the rear, I average 19-20 mpg. But 4.10s and gas mileage are bitter enemies. Smiles per gallon...

High 20s on a road trip is pretty common. Seems like I got 28 on the last trip. Lots of rain though. Around town 17. My 2012 would average 12. These things have came a long way.

I would rather see how low I can keep it.
2012 GT or GT500?

OP, not trying to be mean or anything but if you do a search there should be a bunch of threads on MPG already.
Also we need more details on that 31mpg you claim.. Did you fill up and drive 40mph for like a few miles or what.. Fill us in.

Running the Ford Performance PP2 tune w/93 octane I can consistently get 26 mpg on the highway running 80-90. Around my area I get 19-21.

isnt a GT's estimated MPG:
16 city
25 hwy.
For a combined of 20 mpg?

In my EB Im getting 20-21, with an avg of 24 - 25 mpg. Im not doing hwy driving anymore.... I dont understand why 18 city would be bad for a GT....

Do you city drive a lot?
short trips/ long trips?
Long idles?
How much "FUN" do you have in your GT?
Temperatures.
Type of fuel.
All influence yout MPG's.

Best sustained MPG was in KS at 65mph with a tailwind. I felt the tailwind and slowed it down to 65mph just to see what I could get for mpg. It maxed out above 40mpg. I managed to sustain that for about 20 miles before the wind changed and it dipped back down. Totally a fluke but I thought it was neat. Best highway average I've seen is 31mpg. Same trip, across KS, MS, and IL. On the return trip I averaged 28mpg. Most highway road trips I average between 26mpg and 29mpg, depending on wind, gas quality, and number of times I need to pass someone. Road trips aside, my combined average is 24.7mpg. I have verified all but the 40mpg fluke with some receipt math at the pump. No mods.
Edit: my worst average combined mpg was 19, for reference. Really does depend on how you drive. Not calling anyone a bad driver or me a good driver, or anything so nobody take it personal - but I had a roommate that managed to get a Toyota Corolla into the TEENS, simply because he didn't realize he never maintained speeds. He would always speed up to the speed he wanted to go, then unbeknownst to him, gradually slow down, then speed back up, then slow down. I feel like a lot of people drive that way and it really does add up, really fast.

Unless you adjust your Indicated Average Fuel Economy gauge in the Mustang it normally reads about 1-3mpg high. Thank Ford for that.
