Maybe you shoud have your seats checked out ? I've never noticed a seat motor sound.
I can hear mine when, especially when the passenger side is on. It's the "cooling" fan that you'll hear.

Mine are loud when on high, too. Even on low it's still noticeable.

If the car is your primary vehicle then I see the advantage of the power sofa seats, but if it's a secondary vehicle and handling is a concern then the Recaros help you extract more from the vehicle. Especially when paired with a proper harness. I'm in the zone now where I want more than the Recaros have to offer.

I see your point. This isn't my daily and when I do drive it its not on a track, just a Sunday drive down some open roads. I have only had mine about a month and probably put only 50mils on it at most. Ive driven it a couple of times but seem to have it on my driveway for a wash more than i actually drive it. The S550 is like art to me, i just want to admire it shining in the sunlight. LOL

The Mach 1 is one of the most capable mustangs ever built, especially when configured with the handling package. You should really get it out of the driveway and on the roads more. They're built to be driven, don't be afraid to.

Yes, agree 100%.

I will, eventually. I travel for work most of the time and when I'm home the wife and daughter use the Audi for daily. Shopping, going to park, swimming, ect. I don't get too much time to myself, but it will come. Every time I do drive it I am just amazed. The HP is so much fun. Looking to do some basic mods, H pipe, Drive shaft, CAI, throttle body, nothing that I can't reverse if I need to.

Recaros alone are garbage for long drives but if you purchase a lumbar support pillow and neck support pillow for cars, it is the best of both worlds for comfort and support.
I have never had any issues with my Recaro’s I could probably fall asleep in them. I have been on a 6 hour road trip with no problems.

My wife, with all of her back issues, says that my GT350 Recaros are the most comfortable seats she's ever been in and that's including her 28 way adjustable seats in her Aviator.

The sofa seats are comfy but on the track with 200TW tires they leave lots to be desired even with a 6pt Schroth harness. I just wish the factory Recaro's weren't so $$$ because I'd like one, but only on the driver's side. I'm trying to retain airbags is my issue.

Another vote for "You're not crazy" for not wanting the Recaros. As many have said, if I tracked the car, different story. But for both of ours, the premium with heat and cool are the bomb.

This is really interesting. My wife was the total opposite. Her back issues made getting in and out of the Recaro seats a deal breaker. Even BEFORE she found out you loose the H/C feature.

Getting in and out isn't the best, but for her it was once she was in them it made up for the entry/exit process. Of course different back problems will have different preferences.

We still get the power seats over here with Recaro's but lose the heat / cool.

Personally prefer the heat / cool aspect and the standard seats are fine.
Really you get them power? I think it would be cool to convert mine but I’m not sure the juice is worth the squeeze…
