Anyone here tried a Curb Alert warning device on our S550s?

I wish it had a front end camera but I think the curb alert could/should work...Problem I see, it recommends mounting on the bottom/underside of the Fascia...Wonder if it would work mounting it in the grill?

Here is what I'm talking about.

Buddy its an sports car, they have added all features just to make people be more comfortable, but what you are asking is, more suited for Family cars.

Next thing you might , ask it should have auto parking.

I wouldn't consider it a luxury only feature...

I don't see the harm in trying to protect the front fascia of a not-inexpensive and low-slung sports coupe?

I have no experience with any aftermarket setups like this but if it's simple to use/install and doesn't look weird I'm all for it.

**Edit - Happy Friday guys, too much hostility already in this thread, go eat a Snickers...

It looks like the brandmotion sensor is a single laser beam. So in instances where a curb might be lower or higher - or in the video you posted above, if curb in that parking lot isnt centered between the lines, then you the sensor wouldnt pick it up (but Im pretty sure that equates to about 3% of parking lots...)

Now lets go on tech side... it is very much feasible... we can put similar as we have for that reverse sensor... or something on similar lines we have in for BMWs right

Brother i agree with ya... but there is no harm in putting lot of things in this car... But eventually that roughness we love in this car will go...and then cost will go up .

They brand mustang as affordable sports car.. and i guess if we keep on adding features and there is no end to it....it will loose that affordable tag

If I wanted roughness, I'd order a GT350R or a Hellcat...I sold my Boss because of a lack of driving/creature comforts I desired for a DD...

Ford put sensors in the mirrors & rear view camera for a reason...I want to protect my front end also because I don't like my rear end sticking too far out because I parked too far from a curb that will eat the plastic.

Curb thing even i faced but once i got used to length of the car.. i know now how far should i go... BUt yes we can put in some sensors aftermarket to make things easier
