I have never ever seen one of those signs in all of my travel... Interesting for sure. That's probably something new for the truck guys that practice the back in parking for the quick getaways. lol
You've seriously never see a "Head in Parking Only" sign? They have them at like every 7-11 and deli and restaurant and anything I go to that has parking up against the building.

Not here in Oklahoma City they don't. lol Maybe that's a New York thing. All these cowboys around here would be pissed. They all back in with their big trucks.

My first test drive in a 2015 GT meant parking the nose over the curb at the dealer. The salesperson who was shotgunning said "don't worry, the splitter has plenty of clearance".
I slowly eased the nose over and heard some scraping. We got out and the splitter had lightly grazed the curb. That curb was the lowest in the dealer lot. After that, the new Mustangs were parked inside the lot, not at the periphery.
By the way, digging around my shop, I found a wireless license plate camera I bought a couple of years but never used. I stuck it on the front license bracket. The bottom of the license bracket is too high
to gauge curb height. It might be useful for getting as close as possible to a wall. I think you would need a couple of sonar sensors mounted on the air dam to be any good.

Buddy its an sports car, they have added all features just to make people be more comfortable, but what you are asking is, more suited for Family cars.

Next thing you might , ask it should have auto parking.
I personally don't need one, but it seems your thought process is pretty much ass backwards! Most family cars would likely clear the curb.

Conversely, one good camera mounted at the bottom of the front splitter would work.
Maybe, but you could never put that on a production vehicle. That would violate tons of regulations and internal robustness requirements.

Cars can parallel park themselves now.
