Hey guys, so I bought a Curb Alert Pro and will be install it today. I have read the instructions a few times. I'm not that mechanically inclined, but I can do the basics. My question is wiring the positive and negativeā€¦ where would you tire them in and how? If anyone has installed this unit before, some pictures would really help.

Thanks ahead of time

For such a specific request my best guess would be to just email/call the actual manufacture for more help. Let us know what they say.

Without the wiring diagram my offering will be limited. What I would do is look at your manual which has the fuse location and fuse numbers which correspond with power usage. Find a fuse which will work and see if you can identify the color coded wire for that fuse and splice into that wire. For the negative just go to the closest frame ground location.

Funny... I went to install mine today and the wiring to the fuse box wasn't the issue but the running of the sensor wire from the front of the car through the firewall was! I quit and decided to finish this another day.

I didn't WANT to drill a hole but that's where I'm at right now. Drill. Determination. And a quick "oh sh!t" at the ready.

For the power, just hook it up to the fuse box on the passenger side using a fuse adapter like this:

Add a circuit mini-fuse

Yeah... this thing is "simple" but also generic.

Connect black to a good ground.

Connect red to an ignition controlled power source.

The other connectors (for the speaker and the sensor) are very specific -- a mini-USB for the sensor and a mini stereo plug for the speaker.

The real instructions are for the programming.

Husker -- thanks so much for posting photos! I've looked under that hood for nearly an hour looking for a place to run this.

That place on yours ... I have stuff going through already. My guess is you have an automatic? I'm pretty sure that's where my clutch fluid line runs into the cabin for the pedal assembly.

I also have the Sto-N-Sho and had to offset the sensor. Any issues?

Auto Transmission...

Only issue, can't center because of Sto-N-Sho...Works great, hardly a day goes by that I don't use it.

Good luck with the install, it's worth every penny-->
