Apologize for always bringing you all down these rabbit holes with me, lol. First I get bored, then I get curious about these topics, that it seems have never been discussed in the depth I desire.

GVWR on base R is 4140. But thats a 2 seater... so it's max load is 351lb. 🤷‍♂️

Go to the scale this week at a truck stop gas station and post some 411 for us.

Which is odd to me, why would the GVWR be higher on the R? I’m thinking that the GVWR is not an accurate way to determine weight. But, with your contribution I believe the Mach 1’s weight is potentially more accurate.

I should do that for sure. We now have all other variables. The lightest 350(R), the lightest Mach 1 HP. The heaviest 350, now we just need to weigh my pig which is the equivalent heaviest Mach 1 HP. My wheels being 350 wheels should not skew the results as they appear to be the same weight of M1 HP wheels, as I mentioned earlier on.

Make sure your tank is full and your trunk isn't filled with parts.

I assume I’ll be able to exit the vehicle? I guess either way no biggy I know I weigh about 200 lbs. I planned on using the app actually, seems like I may not even need to speak to the attendant. Also, only “additive” in my car are the Ford all weather liners along with the trunk liner. They are 14.3lbs total versus 3lbs for the stock mats. So I will calculate that difference after weighing.

Some internet sources spec the OEM M1 HP wheels at 31-31.7 lbs each f/r vs. the 2015-2018 350 OEM wheels at 26lbs/F and 29.5lbs/R.

I am running the 2019-2020 wheels, I would assume they’re about the same as that!

Here’s my list:

Ford All-weather mats + trunk mat for sub (vs. carpet mats)
+11.3 lb

Ford Performance X-pipe (vs. factory resonator)
−15.0 lb

GT350R strut tower brace
−2.5 lb

BMR jacking rails (pair)
+13.75 lb

OEM GT350 wheels
~0 lb (close enough I’m not going to account for them)

So my car will be give or take +7.55lbs heavier than a stock loaded Mach HP. I’ll calculate this in my final numbers and pass onto you guys. Heading over there now.

So Longacre/Intercomp scales are claimed to be within +/-0.1% accuracy for pads with less than 1800lb capacity per pad. That's +/-3.8lbs for a 3800lb car. CAT scales are intended to measure much larger weights so I’d be surprised if they are as accurate weighing a car that far down on the scale. Does anyone have an actual accuracy standard for them at mid or low end of range? This is all ignoring how recently they were calibrated.

Here you go guys! Full tank topped up, and correcting for my modifications mentioned earlier:

Ford All-weather mats + trunk mat for sub (vs. carpet mats)
+11.3 lb

Ford Performance X-pipe (vs. factory resonator)
−15.0 lb

GT350R strut tower brace (vs. stock M1 HP Strut brace)
−2.5 lb

BMR jacking rails (pair)
+13.75 lb

OEM GT350 wheels (vs. stock HP wheels)
~0 lb (close enough I’m not going to account for them)

Roughly +7.6 lbs over stock, so 3,900 lbs - 7.6 lbs:

A stock fully loaded M1 HP comes in right about 3,892 lbs!

🤣 I’ve lived in Austin, TX area since ‘82 but was born in Oak Park and grew up in Elgin, Dundee and Aurora, IL before parents moved close to grandparents. Still waiting for the Bears to pull another ‘85 but at least the Cubbies finally got it done in ‘16.
