Well said.Things cost what people are willing to pay for them. I wanted to buy a condo about three years ago or so, and showed up at the open house and made an offer on the spot for the amount that the seller was asking for. Later that day, they got an offer from somebody else for $50K above what they were asking for. Obviously, I didn't get the condo.
Markets are markets. You can't say that it's "unethical" for a dealer to ask for more than MSRP any more than you can say that it's "unethical" for a customer to ask for less than MSRP.
It gets annoying reading posts from people who want to be the first to buy a car and don't want to sacrifice anything for that privilege.
