I'm close to Speedkore...and I have a bad feeling about them. They refuse to actually tell you how much weight you'll save if you start going at it. They always say "oh about 400lbs." I honestly don't think there is 400lbs of body panel weight to be saved on a GT350. If the weights are
Door panels x2 (steel) - call it 45lbs
Roof (steel) - call it 25lbs
Front Fenders x2 (aluminum) - call it 10lbs
Rear Fenders x2 (aluminum) - call it 10lbs
Decklid (steel) - call it 35lbs
Hood (aluminum) - call it 25lbs
Front bumper (fiber glass) - call it 15lbs
Rear bumper (fiber glass) - call it 10lbs
Add those up and that's 240lbs total. These are the outside panels but still. That's not even close to 400. Oh and carbon fiber does still weigh something so you're not saving 240lbs either.
