Who Has Stripes On Their Car And The Factory Black Roof?

I’ve got a 21’ in Race Red with the factory painted black roof. I still want black stripes on the car though (I wouldn’t put them on the roof). Does anyone have a car with a black roof and stripes (across the roof or not), color doesn’t matter? Can you post some pics? I’m trying to get an idea of what it will look like.

I have an '18 GT Royal Crimson with a Black roof (no stripes). When the stripes go from the hood, over the roof to the rear deck, to me something just looks off about it. I would have the roof all black with stripes on the hood and rear deck. I know that you asked for pictures and if this wasted your time, I apologize. I'm old and just need something to do sometimes.

Obviously none of my business and only my opinion but I think your car looks perfect as is, im not a fan of stripes, again just my opinion and not trying to be a hater, try a google search you will find tons of pictures that you can compare side by side, best of luck

I’d do black stripes on the hood and trunk/rear bumper (no need to do the roof obviously), I think it would look just fine. If you did the stripes in another color, like white, I don’t think it would look right. The Shelby’s just look better with their stripes. Just my opinion though.

In kind of the same vein, I did some mock ups on my painted black stripe car to see how a black roof would look. It's a really subtle option from standing distance. You have to be way over the car to really notice the effect.

Check my profile picture. Very few cars configured this way, but IMO, the best for the bright colors as it balances out the blob of color and adds a lot more visual interest.

‘19 Kona Blue GT350 here. Factory black stripes and black roof. I think it adds a subtle menacing touch. This is a picture of it in the showroom the day I got it. It’s surprisingly challenging to get a good picture of all this on a dark colored car without being above it.

Yea, the black roof on these cars are interesting. They are supposed to give the car a lower profile and more sleak look. Yet it's hardly noticeable. Maybe that's the point. On the dark cars, it's not noticeable. On a white car, much more so. It's a take it or leave it option for me.

Camaros never put roof stripes on, Mustangs do! With new Black roofs, I'm not sure how it would look.

I have a 2021 Anti Matter Blue with black over the top stripes, black side stripes and black roof. The light has to be just right to see the contrast.
