Looking for some advice with boost settings on a twin turbo S550 for 93 and E85. Currently car has SP at 10, GP at 0, and car is making 9-10 psi. Fuel system is a Wengerd dual pump hat..

I'm wanting a boost group for 8-10 psi for my 93 tune and groups for 12-14 and 16-18 psi for my E85 tune.. Is this possible with the Turbosmart controller?

Thanks!

What's your eboost set up? Single or dual solenoid? 3 part or 4 port? Your settings and my settings could need to be drastically different if your running different solenoids. Best bet is to adjust and test until you get it right.

I have my E-Boost set up with 3 different set points:
S1 is gate pressure, which is about 5 PSI (I have 3 PSI WG springs)
S2, with a setting of 18 results in 7 PSI
S3, with a setting of 29 results in 10 PSI.

My settings are irrelevant to your car: I share them merely to give you an idea of what the spread is like on a similar system. I'm only on 93, so I don't go above 10 PSI.

I use the logic built into the controller with two buttons on my console. The forward button goes up one boost group, while the rearward button returns it to S1. This is referred to as "SSA" in the EBoost2 manual

I take off, and do daily driving on the low boost setting. When there is traction and room, it is easy to bump up to the next boost level. One of the most satisfying feelings is 3rd gear, and spending about 1 second in each boost group: each button push is roughly 100 HP, and you can really feel it!

I suggest that you do something similar, and just adjust your total number of boost groups depending on what fuel you are running. If I were to go to E-85, I would add S4 to accommodate the extra boost. When returning back to 93 (say for the winter) I would go back into the system and only have the 3 groups. Write down your settings, and next season, you only need to add the extra boost group, and the numerical setting that results in the boost you desire. This would keep you from accidentally overboosting on 93 only: hitting the forward button repeatedly can't go above the highest number boost group that you have active.

This is my car at the low setting (red) and back to back runs at the high setting.
