Hi. I’m installing a fore triple pump fuel system and am nearly completed. However, on the port side I need a vacuum/boost reference and I do not understand this system at all.

Lund told me “I would not use the BOV/Boost Gauge lines for your Fuel Pressure regulator. It needs its own standalone source to avoid noise and it needs to be short and direct to the manifold. It must see vacuum and boost - so it needs to be post throttle body.”

Could someone explain to me where to get this reference from? I have a dual vented catch can coming today that’s why mine is missing and there are open ports

so without a manifold block, you can tee into one of the vacuum lines. just need to make sure its before any check valves so you can get boost and vacuum reference.

BTW how well is your BOV working connected like that?

I have the fore block. Is there like you’d recommend to tee off?

I mean lund hasn’t reported any issues, I can hear it sometimes but this is how the instructions for the kit said to set it up?

Ya its not much of an issue on the Gen 3s. Hit or miss. mine did act funny occasionally. I discovered in that stupid ugly dual check valve thing just behind/above the throttle body, the hole is very tiny and restrictive. I ran a drill through it and opened it up a bit more and never had any more weird issues. I posted about it a while back in the ESS thread so hopefully it helped someone with a gen 1 or 2.

I've since rerouted my whole vacuum/pcv stuff to clean up the look of things. If you ever lockout your IMRCs you can clean it up a lot.

Is it different for a single regulator vs dual regulator setup?.. I have my single regulator ran to my vacuum block (which is hooked up from where your bov line is) with my bov and boost gauge. Have never had an issue or had my tuner say anything about any issues.

I asked to tee off my boost gauge line from that and Lund said no.

Fpr & bbv is on the same block. Might have to zoom in to see it better. I'd take a better picture however, I won't be home for another few days from work.
