I can only go by what I heard people say at the GT350 Track Attack school, who owned both. They said the GT350 was a more fun car to drive, and preferred it over the GT500.

Drive both. There is only ine honest conclusion: the gt500 is what the gt350 wants to be when I grows up. Not even a contest.

take all the track prowess of the gt350 and then some, add ridiculous power and torque the gr350 only dreams about snd… yeah. This shouldn’t even be a question.

base gt500 > base gt350 and gt350R. And if you want to put an exclamation point on it, put actual track tires on the gt500 and flat out embarassing the R.

And don’t even get started on the gt500 CFTP (the R conparison), because Thsys just asking for hurt feelings.

there are levels to this. Gt500 was designed intentionally to take over where the 350R left off. It’s the superior machine.

I’ve driven both. GT500 has it all, except…….that damn rotary dial and DCT instead of a clutch pedal option. DCT was fabulous though. Too bad, so sad I guess. I’d rather have a ZL1 Tremec than the 500 because of that one omission. Those who can’t/won’t drive a manual will obviously disagree.

Meh, I can and will drive a manual but the DCT is just a better suited transmission for the 500. Just like the manual is better suited for the 350/R.

I have not driven a manual ZL1, the auto’s are a riot. Though not as good as the 500 IMO.

Yep, 10L90 quicker for sure but something special about choosing your own gears while dialing in just how much blower whine you desire lol.
