Just a wash and wax.
No biggie.
But last week I did my first oil change.......
Before I forget, fuck you Ford......
The oil filter was not the correct one, (I bought the car used from a tiny dealership in bumfuck Ohio), and I didn't have the correct size cup style filter wrench in stock.
But the oil change gods were watching over me, when I managed to barely fit just my bare hand up thru the trap door and around the wiring and in between the supoorts, and was able to unscrew the filter by hand. 🙏
Of course I was on my back in the dirt when the oil from the filter went everywhere.
Did I mention fuck you Ford?
Anyway, I'd watched enough YouTube videos to know that the oil pan, as it gets to a trickle, defies gravity and flows up hill and all into the belly pan.
So in preparation I took some tin snips and cut a chunk out of it right where the drain plug is located.
That worked swimmingly.

Bucket list item. Was able to take on track at Bristol and run a few laps. Great day :)

In the video I was the second car from the rear, second car at the beginning of the clip :)

Pulled my winter all season tires/wheels off apex ec7 275/40/19 square. Put factory tires/wheels back on. Bottom of front goes from 6 and 3/4 inch to 6 and 3/8th inch. That tiny bit makes a big difference in how fast i can get out my driveway.
Also got my 24 inch fan out for the summer.

Ya, Ford wasn't thinking easy or convenient when placing the filter or designing the belly pan.

Glad you worked through that. With the initial one down, the future ones should be easier.

A drain plug from UPR, Femco or Fumoto can help to control the flow of oil as it exits.

Before removing the filter, I tuck old t-shirts across the wiring and electronics below.

Some have had success using a piece of carboard shaped like a "V", tin foil and other items to help bring the oil from the filter area and into the drain pan. Others remove the filter from the wheel well area. Loosening the filter slowly can help it drip. Instead of the oil coming down and all over, it drips down the side of the filter and its corner, where it could be picked up.

I tuck another t-shirt in-between the belly pan and the oil pan, but the notch you created fixed that.

Edit,

For filter wrenches, check out any of the ones with a three-finger design. One end has three metal fingers, which grab the filter. The other, a socketed end, for an extension. As the piece is unscrewed, the fingers tighten around the filter so it can be removed.

Considering ordering a second RSD kit to keep in the box, as these are pretty rare and I’m sure once they’re gone, they’re gone. What do you guys think?

Downloaded a couple of pics from the "pro" photographers on the Dragon Slayer from Saturday. As well as a couple more. Had a blast driving 3 days in a row, super twisty roads :)

Thanks for your informative reply!
I've got a bunch of old wash rags and things I can use for the oil filter mess. And I've already purchased one of those fool proof filter wrenches.
And I agree, the next one will be much less messy, fingers crossed. 🙏

Good idea , I'm also thinking of squarling away another front splitter or 2 , as I'm sure these with other parts will be the first to be Deleted from being produced. But also kinda spendy to store under the spare bedroom bed . I've already scraped mine 2 times , luckily very lightly.

Installed Steeda S550 Ultra light full length jacking rails . I used the stock bolts and 1 of the supplied longer bolts, all got a slight dolup of loctite .
I'm embarrassed my undercarriage is dirty , side skirts to body you can really see , next month I have a week reserved , one of the 2 posts lifts , at our club shop to clean the underside and all the components.

Change of plans sadly, had my laptop of 8 years die unexpectedly, so new laptop it is! Guess my thought is anyways, if I get another RSD, then when does it end? Could always justify a second splitter as you said, or wheel arches… etc.

Just going to keep my baby nice.

Designed an 11" x 17' display board for car shows. Found a website that is printing it on foam board.

Last year a local guy traded in his Mach on an M2 and sold me a brand new splitter, Automotive Authority spare tire kit, and Weathertech floor mats and trunk liner for $400. Talk about right place at the right time.
